Character Description
Whilst she would much prefer otherwise, Melody cannot help but be noticed; even in her youth, she was a exceptionally beautiful girl. The touch of death has only added to this, giving her a strange, dark appeal. Her once pale eyes are now an intense emerald, her ice-blue hair is now a glossy, healthy black. Fragile in body, she nonetheless moves with an easy grace, granted to her both by her elegant bearing and extensive martial arts training.
Her skin is a pale white, and her lips are full and red. She often wears a faintly sad expression, but when she smiles her entire being seems to light up. She has but one item of clothing, a silken gown gifted to her by her mistress, but it performs as well as an entire wardrobe, being able to shift its form at Melody’s command. The most commonly used form is a long dress that stretches down to her ankles, fairly tight around her waist, with wide sleeves and silver trim around the edges. It leaves her shoulders and hips bare, but covers everywhere else, and she usually wears it with a pair of knee-high boots. Her only item of jewellery is a thin silver collar around her neck, likewise gifted to Melody by the Lover.

Melody has been presented with a pair of valued items to aid her in her travels. The first item is a silken dress that changes shape at her behest, serving as protective battle-garb as well as elegant formal wear. The material of the dress can turn aside a sword as well as any armor; a highly useful property. The other is a collar forged of black steel and less pleasant metals; it sits about Melody's neck and refuses to be undone, a mark of the Lover's control of her. Thankfully, it is a quite versatile item, keeping her clean and fresh at all times, as well as allowing her to exert the full force of her beauty upon a desired target.

Feeling much as her masters do, the Lover Clad in the Raiment of Tears see a great deal of value in Melody's association with the Solars. She has devoted a fair amount of her resources to seeing that Melody has a solid backing, and checks on her regularly.

In Creation, an Abyssal will need all the Essence she can muster, and the Lover understands this. She has given Melody control of the (yet to be defined Manse) to serve just such a purpose.

In her life as Willow Sky, Melody amassed quite a fortune in jade, the people she helped quite willing to pay for her healing and teaching services, despite her assertion that such was not required.

Melody's constant companion is a young girl named Amishka... the very same girl slain by Melody's own hand. In death, she serves Melody with an almost fanatical devotion, her entire existence centered around pleasing her murderer.
- Underworld Manse
Most Abyssals have a place of refuge in the lands of the dead, and Melody is no exception. Both the (Manse) and the (Manse) have been placed under her control.
- Whispers
The Malfeans have slowly but surely been working their way into Melody's mind... an Abyssal who has the trust of a Solar circle is a useful asset.
