The Master's Vengeful Reach
Artifact ••••
Orichalcum naginata
Speed +12 Accuracy +3 Damage +9L Defense +4 Rate 6
Requires: Strength 3; Commitment: 8

This weapon is a exceedingly long naginata, elegant and perfect. There is a gleaming three foot long katana blade at one end, tapering gently to an incredily sharp point. At the other end is a flat leaf-shaped spearhead. The mounting for each of the lethal blades has room for a hearthstone to be slotted in. The shaft is ten feet long and jet black, with intricate designs and runes covering it. There are two woven streams of text, one recounting the fall of a great demon at the hands of the man for whom the blade was forged, the other telling of the eternal power of the exalted, their justice and their virtue.
The weapon is delicately and perfectly balanced no matter how it is held, allowing it to be swung and hefted with incredible speed; it almost seems that the air itself pushes the blade along its fated path, flexing and twisting to find its target. The supernatural perfection of the blade reduces all multiple action penalties by 3.

The naginata's stats include the 5MM bonus for Orichalcum.

Not to make your ST bleed out of his eyes or anything, but why is this Artifact 4? Seems much more around the "Daiklave+Special Ability" range, which is about Artifact 3. Really, it's just a Daiklave that reduces multiple action penalties, which isn't that much. Then again, it's morning, so I could just be hallucinating. Anyway, just saying is all. -- GreenLantern, looking out for The Hoverpope's best interests, methinks

Actually, it's a Grand Daiklave with a bonus power; has better speed, damage, defense, and rate than a daiklave. :) And it's fairly insanely powerful in action. - FrivYeti, who was the ST in question, so no worries about eye bleeding.
Ah - didn't actually compare the stats to anything. Well then, I can't complain one bit. Cool toy! -- GreenLantern
I've said that myself more than once, but I bitch about my power level all the time.TheHoverpope/MastersReach/I> (Sorry, Friv). This thing is actually really ridiculous when I can start splitting my actions six ways without a charm use and still be effective. - TheHoverpope

This was hashed out after a long and vigorous argument that came to nigh on fisticuffs.

The naginata's stats include the 5MM bonus for Orichalcum.
