The Primordial Wars happened in much the same fashion as presented in Canon, save a for a few notable events:

The Alliance of the Forge
Once they started preparing their coup, the Incarna turned to the two Primordials who were not distracted by the Games. They approached Autocthon and Gaia and prestented them with a "If you're not with us, you're against us" ultimatum. Autocthon considered the situation: He knew the Incarna could not defeat the Primordials on their own. He also knew that such a war, while ultimately futile, would last for a long time and destabilize Creation, making it more vulnerable to the Fae and the forces of the Wyld. Most importantly, he knew his brothers and sisters would come after him for giving the secret of Exaltation to the Incarna. He decided to betray the others and aid the Incarna by teaching them the secrets of artifice and technology.

As for Gaia, she was concerned only for Creation. She had no desire to participate on either side of the conflict, knowing full well what the repercussion of war would be. Sol and the Maidens pushed for her destruction, but Luna, the Dragons, and Charon voted against. Gaia was spared and eventually disappeared. Luna was the last to see her, and has never spoken about the subject to anyone, including Sol.

The Battle of Shadow and Mirrors

About halfway through the War, a group of thirteen Primordials, led by Kerteptyn, Lord of Abscence and Steadholder Oblivion, gathered in Mirrorblack Castle, which existed only in the space behind a mirror's reflection. They had devised a scheme. If those who dies with unfinished business lingered in the Underworld until put to rest, why not so with them? Since they created the system, there was no reason they could not amend it to include themselves. So they prepared a ritual and lured the forces of the Incarna to their castle. A fierce battle was raged, which the Thirteen intentionally lost, but not before inflicting horrific casualties on their foes. The battle culminated with their death's and the triggering of their ritual. A vast explosion destroyed the castle and everything within and without. Of the Primordials there was no trace. Strangely, the shards of 100 solar exalted had also vanished. The Incarna assumed it was due to the potency of the Primordial's death curse, and quickly forgot about it. The Thirteen traveled to the Underworld on the wings of their ritual and hid in Oblivion. With them they took 100 solar souls to subvert. They lay in hiding, biding their time until the time for revenge was right, working over their captured solar captives, unaware of the effects their new state of being would have on them.

The Legacy Relics

Autocthon grew concerned with the course of the war. Even with the help of his instruction and factories it was uncertain whether or not the Incarna could actually win. Autocthon feared what would happen to him if the Primordials one so he set to crafting weapons of unmatched power to aid them. He created five devices, each made from one of the Five Magical Materials, and bestowed them upon each of the five Exalted forces. This was done intentionally. He was afraid what the Incarana would do if they could wield the weapons themselves, so he left them in the hands of their chosen. Likewise, he was afraid of what may happen if one side could wield all five, and made it so that the Exalts could only utilize the weapon that harmonized with them. These devices would later come to be called the Legacy Relics. The advantage shifted in the Incarna's favor and the pace of the war accelerated.

The Convocation of Brass

With the disappearance of the Thirteen and the emergence of the Legacy Relics, the Primordials became legitimately concerned with their survival. A meeting was called by the remaining Primordials to plan a new strategy. Their concerns were two-fold: In addition to their survival they were also worried about the duration of the war. The Wyld was not just sitting around, and the threat to Creation was becoming increasingly intense. Even though they could simply craft a new Creation, they were vain and did not wish to see the original destroyed. The needed to end the war quickly and do it without dying. There would be no quick way to destroy the Incarna thanks to Autocthon's meddling, so they needed to find a safe way to loose. They decided to try and bluff the Incarna. They'd step up their own aggression, intensifing the war to the point where Creation would be torn apart if it continued. The hope was that this would cause the Incarna to panic and make a careless mistake, as the Incarna could not exist without Creation. The Icarna did panic and changed their strategy from annhiliation to exile and imprisonment. Some of the Primordials were destroyed during the implementation of this plan and the others, slightly panicked, decided to settle for an imprisonment they could break loose from instead of irrevocable destruction.

The Great Curse

The Primordials dragged the war on for a little longer and slowly retreated to single point, chosen because it would facilitate the Incarna's attempt at exile. They waited and formulated an insidious and subtle curse to loose upon the Incarna during the last moments of binding. The Incarna and their children arrived and performed a ritual which would bind the remaining Primordial's into a prison crafted from their very bodies. As the Primordial's were twisted and bound they released their curse...
