Gothic Lolita Final Assault Prana

Every cute girl with some measure of cuteness has a special “something”: a special phrase, hobby, fetish, quirk or killer move. With this Charm, a Gothic Lolita uses her special killer move to enhance an attack. The Lolita’s player comes up with the signature move when this Charm is purchased. If the character receives mechanical benefits such as extra movement from her Athletics action, then it must be included in her current flurry. This Charm gives one bonus success on the attack roll and doubles post-soak damage of the attack. This Charm is explicitly permitted to supplement and be part of a Combo with Charms of other abilities.

Once this Charm is purchased, the character can purchase new signature attacks for one experience point or one bonus point each.

Flickering Loli Speed

  • Cost: 1+ mote
  • Duration: One turn
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Athletics: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Confusing Lolita Athletics

Upon activation of this Charm, the Lolita becomes so fast she is seen as through a strobe, flickering in and out of sight, moving so fast that not even her shadow can follow her. She may increase her sprinting speed by a factor of 10 per mote spent, up to a maximum multiplier of (her (Athletics + Moe)*10). As an additional benefit, characters employing this Charm can run without fear of getting winded and weary.

Shadow Loli Body

  • Cost: 5 motes
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Athletics: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Confusing Lolita Athletics

The Gothic Lolita becomes a thing of shadow, capable of dashing along any surface without regard to gravity. She can scale sheer walls or scuttle across ceilings. She can even run or walk on unstable surfaces as if she had absolutely no weight. This makes surfaces such as rice paper, water, lava and writhing maggots squirming at her feet effectively solid under her, though no necessarily harmless. She never loses her footing, even on slick or entirely liquid surfaces.

Reality Revision: Perfection of the Little Body

  • Cost: 15 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Athletics: 6
  • Minimum Moe: 6
  • Prerequisite Charms: Persistent Loli Athletics Augmentation, Black Cat’s Hissing Retreat, Excellent Lolita Body Technique

This Charm represents the pinnacle of body augmentation, the perfection of a Lolita’s body: lithe but athletics, frail but strong, childish but incredibly attractive. For a short while, the Lolita becomes the embodiment of the very concept of “Lolita.” It is the same philosophy of cute perfection that led to the development of the Four Aspects of the Lolita Marital Arts Style, hence the similarities between this Charm and that style’s Form Charm. Of course, this Charm is far more powerful.

The Gothic Lolita becomes the ultimate expression of grace, beauty and swiftness, flowing more than walking or running. She doubles her Dexterity and Appearance as the powerful essence of Moe courses through her body. Even the softest touch of her hand is terrifyingly powerful: her unarmed attacks do lethal damage, with Speed, Accuracy and Defense ratings equal to the character’s Moe rating. She also adds her permanent Moe score to the difficulty of all attacks made against her. This includes both Charm-based attacks and sorcery. These are effective automatic successes to avoid all attacks and are additive with dodges and parries.

Black Cat's Step Technique

  • Cost: 3 motes
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Athletics: 1
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: None

Gothic Lolitas are as graceful as moonlight on a forest spring. The Lolita automatically succeeds on any valid Athletics action to keep her balance. She can balance on objects ordinarily too weak or delicate to support her without risk or falling or breaking the object. She can keep her footing on a surface at least as strong and wide as a human hair. The Lolita’s player need never make an Athletics roll to for the Lolita to move gracefully or keep her footing, except in the most challenging and improbable circumstances.

Black Cat's Hissing Retreat

  • Cost: 1 mote
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Athletics: 2
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Black Cat's Step Technique

The Lolita jumps impossibly fast and far in the blink of an eye. It can be used in response to an attack, but will not prevent the attack hitting her, as it will be resolved after the blow hits or misses. It can, however, be used before the next in a series of attacks. The Lolita can move up to (her normal jump distance * her Moe) yards vertically or up to twice that distance horizontally. This Charm replaces the Lolita’s normal movement action. Characters may attack on the same turn they use Black Cat’s Hissing Retreat but they receive no particular bonus for doing so (except, possibly, the element of surprise).

Black Cat's City Stroll Method

  • Cost: 3 motes
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Athletics: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Black Cat's Hissing Retreat

Just like cat are kings and queens of the night, treading the city with graceful jumps from building to building, so does the Loli moves through the battlefield with the same grace and speed. For the rest of the scene, the character can jump with a movement action instead of a miscellaneous action, and she multiplies the maximum length of all her jumps by her Moe.

Black Cat's Impossible Recovery

  • Cost: 2 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Useless
  • Minimum Athletics: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Black Cat's Hissing Retreat

The Gothic Lolita uses her Moe to adjust her body weight and creates a false effect of buoyancy in midair. The character can fall noiselessly from any height up to a mile without suffering any damage, so long as she invokes this Charm before she actually lands. Once the character touches the ground, the protection expires. The character lands on her feet and may act immediately if she has actions available that turn.

The Land Rejects the Loli

  • Cost: 10 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Athletics: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 4
  • Prerequisite Charms: Black Cat's Impossible Recovery

The Gothic Lolita sends her Moe in a disruptive stream to the land below her. The world rejects such an infusion of wicked Moe and, as a consequence, rejects contact with the Gothic Lolita. That’s how, without any real physical effort, the Lolita is launched to the sky with an amazing speed. This Charm allows the character to leap extremely long distances, taking the remainder of the scene (or about 5 minutes in real time). The character can cover a distance of five miles per point of permanent Moe. If she does not know her destination, her player may be required to make a successful reflexive Dexterity + Athletics roll on the Exalt’s landing or have her tumble and take up to three dice of bashing damage. The character may take no other actions except to parry and counterattack during the scene he is leaping. If the character can fly or otherwise navigate through air, doing so immediately ends this Charm’s effect and leaves the character dependent on whatever means of locomotion. A character can reach a height of several miles at the apex of the leap, so flight effects of short duration are suicidal unless the character can survive such a long fall.

NeverCute's Fiendish Familiar Soaring Wing Style

  • Cost: 10 motes, 1 Willpower
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Athletics: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 4
  • Prerequisite Charms: Black Cat's Impossible Recovery

It is rumored that the NeverCute have familiars: winged black cats that travel through Creation announcing the death of beasts mundane and magical alike with their terrifying meowing. With this Charm, Gothic Lolitas can fly through the sky like these creatures. She leaps skyward and continues flying until the scene ends or she wills herself to land. She moves at (her Athletics * her normal Move and Sprint rates) yards. She may attack other aerial combatants normally or assault targets on the ground using ranged weapons. Alternately, they can swoop and strike as she passes.

Unless they are swooping, flying characters can only be attacked with ranged weapons, by other flying/leaping characters or on the initiative count when they strike a ground-based target in close combat. As usual, characters rolling higher than the Gothic Lolita can delay their initiative to strike at the necessary moment. Due to the Exalt’s speed, individuals other than his target strike him at a -3 dice penalty unless wielding a long weapon, such as a spear. In such cases, the penalty drops to -1. The Lolita’s target may attack him normally without penalty so long as she times her strike normally.

Excellent Lolita Body Technique

  • Cost: 3/5 motes per dot
  • Duration: One scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Athletics: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: None

Infusing her muscles and bones with Moe, the Gothic Lolita briefly increases her physical abilities to supreme levels. For every 3 motes spent, the character raises either her Strength or her Stamina by 1 dot. For every 5 motes spent, the character increases her Dexterity by 1 dot. The character can increase multiple Attributes at once, but she cannot increase an Attribute by more than her permanent Moe rating.

Lamia's Kiss

Why bother on using her own Moe to increase her might when she can just take it from others?

The character must successfully strike her target in hand-to-hand combat. Regardless of whether the attack deals damage, the Lolita’s player makes a Willpower roll against the target’s permanent Moe. If the Lolita’s player wins, the victim loses 1 dot of Strength or Stamina (as chosen by the Lolita’s player) for every 5 motes the Lolita spent and the Gothic Lolita gains the dot her victim has just lost. This bonus lasts for the rest of the scene.

Exalted targets (and other beings with Moe 2+) cannot have their Strength or Stamina reduced below their permanent Moe with this Charm. Additionally, magical victims can cancel their weakness by spending 7 motes per dot, although such resistance requires concentration and counts as a dice action. This Charm has no effect on targets whose permanent Moe is higher than the Lolita’s.

Non-magical targets whose Strength or Stamina are reduced to zero, they remain at Strength or Stamina 1 for the rest of the scene, but they also lose a dot of permanent Strength or Stamina that can only be recovered with experience. This Charm cannot permanently reduce a victim’s Strength or Stamina below 1.

The Exalt gains no Strength or Stamina for reducing a mortal’s rating and cannot more than double her unmodified Strength or Stamina with this Charm. Victims regain all lost Strength or Stamina at the end of the scene unless their rating has been permanently reduced. This Charm is explicitly permitted to be part of a Combo with Charms of other Abilities.

Comments

Gothic Lolita Final Assault Prana, the base mechanics appear twice. So I cut out the duplication. Charms look good; I am reminded of the bouncing evil idol identity hallucination at the end of Perfect Blue as I think about these. --JohnBiles
