I'll probably add more to this, but for now, here's a deeper look into Mazin's general character.
Mazin
Name: V'neef Ferox Mazin

Skin: A darker grey tint, with a smoothness that will likely have his skin hardened to a diamond-like texture in distant years.
Residence: V'neef Ferox family residence, Imperial City
Family: Father, Senior Officer of the Legions, deceased; Mother, retired Senior Officer of the Legions, living, remarried; Step-Father, prominent bureaucrat.
Motivation: Currently, to be a good leader and do good for the people of the Realm until such time as he's allowed to return to the Imperial City.
Enemies: Ragara Sousuke, prominent senior officer of the Legions with ties in the bureaucracy.
Friends: Other than his fang, he has several people he still considers friends but has lost contact with due to graduating from secondary school and the circumstances leading up to his current situation.
Hobbies: Being the commander for a bunch of miscreant soldiers leaves little time for hobbies, however, he does tend to use his abilities for crafting stone objects. This is more of a way to pass the time than anything, and these little 'landmarks' have been left at each resting point on his fang's journey through the Realm. These can be as small as a frog sculpture or a boulder reshaped into something extravagant.
Personality Summary: For the most part, Mazin is a rather nice person. He is great to his friends and those he considers allies, but the average person gets his cold side. He can fake it reasonably well, however, when he wants to.
When he has to be a soldier, he turns all business. If his orders are to march into a heavily fortified base and kill every man, woman, and child, he will do so without hesitation.
Appearance Summary: His brown, spikey hair is probably his most notable feature, as it probably stands out. After that, people tend to notice that he is almost always decked out in his gear wherever he goes. After all, going casual tends to be just when you will need to be armed. Just one of the laws of the universe.
His gloves are tied at the waist in a casual environment, which makes the spikes in his boots retract. This makes him a little less imposing, but he is still the guy that shows up at parties in armor and attracts all the stares.
Mal
Name: Malcolm Reynolds
Nicknames: Mal
Age: 32

Residence:Some little peasant village
Family:Apparently a large family back home, though he's never let on that he wants to go back.
Motivation:No one is sure what keeps him in the military, as he has been in the Legions for over a decade. He gives it his all however.
Enemies:One in every city.
Friends: One of those in every city too.
Hobbies: His favorite hobbies seem to either be brawling in taverns or womanizing, sometimes at the same time.
Personality Summary: As a seasoned veteran, he tends to be somewhat gruff. He always has a smartass response to something, however, which brings him down to the level of the other members of the team.
Appearance Summary: Middle-aged and adorned with a few battle scars, Mal has a rather rugged appearance, though he's aging well. He still has a head full of brown hair combed to the side, and his eventful life hasn't aged him too much, though there's some signs of stress lines.
When not all decked out for battle, he tends to lounge around in casual clothes.
Jayne
Name: Jayne Cobb

Age: 28

Skin: Darkly tanned
Residence: Another peasant village
Family: He hasn't mentioned any
Motivation: He seems to go through life trying to enjoy every moment of it. Unfortunately, for him, enjoyment seems to be mainly derived from conflict and bashing in people's skulls. So it could be said he lives for battles.
Enemies: One in every city, at least. Usually many.
Friends: He isn't so skilled at making friends however...
Hobbies: Other than brawling in bars, he has an unhealthy fascination with weapons in general. When visiting a city, the others try to keep him away from weaponsmiths and the like, otherwise he might never leave.
Personality Summary: Slow in the head and violent, Jayne is the perfect soldier. However, this makes him a very bad civilian. He can't visit a city without getting drunk and beating someone up. He is hot-headed, crude, and without an ounce of civility.
Appearance Summary: His hair is cut very short, with a trimmed goatee. He tends to have an annoyed look on his face wherever he goes.
Unlike the others, he never seems to be out of his armor.
Zoe
Name: Zoe Washburne

Residence:One of those peasant villages...
Family:Only her husband, Wash
Motivation: Her only real motivation lies with serving the Legions, though she also remains to look out for her husband
Enemies: None in particular.
Friends: She considers the team her friends, and not many others.
Hobbies: She hasn't made any hobbies known, though as much as she and Wash disappear together, one can assume that is a likely hobby.
Personality Summary: Straight to the point and almost downright cold, Zoe is your typical amazon. The only time she warms up or shows any emotion at all is towards Wash, and occasionally torwards the team. This outburst of emotion towards the team is usually anger, however. She is also fiercely jealous and possessive of her husband.
Appearance Summary: A few scars adorn her body, which she doesn't seem to be ashamed of at all. No vanity in this woman. Her hair is tied back in battle but worn loose everywhere else. Her clothing is generally simple, but she never wears dresses or other women's attire.
Wash

Family: He has a large family and will tell you all about them, including distant cousins, if you ask and sit still long enough.
Motivation: As the stereotypical doctor, his motivation is to keep everyone healthy. As the medic for a band of miscreants, he is kept quite busy, tending to brawling wounds more often than battle wounds.
Enemies: None in particular.
Friends: Other than the team, he's a very charismatic guy, so he has quite a few friends in various cities, though all male with his wife being the way she is.
Hobbies: He really only enjoys his work, so that could be called his hobby.
Personality Summary: Calm, quiet, and yet surprisingly playful, Wash tends to lighten up the mood quite often. His charismatic attitude makes even his amazon wife unable to stay angry at him for long.
Appearance Summary: Wash can be best described as a short, skinny, and rather useless looking soldier. When he is all decked out in armor with his shield and sword, he doesn't really look like someone you would want beside you on the battlefield. Once he's in casual attire though, he's just another peasant, another face in the crowd.

Residence: Yet another peasant
Family: A brother that she will only talk about to the team
Motivation: Nobody is really sure what her deal is, other than she won't leave. It may just be that she stays with the team because she has nowhere else to go, or she feels that this is the place she belongs.
Enemies: None that know her.
Friends: She has quite a few acquaintances, fencers and the like.
Hobbies: Other than stealing from everyone in Creation, she is just like any other girl, with pretty normal girl hobbies. Checking out boys, playing around, joking.
Personality Summary: River is a very sweet girl. Unfortunately, she's completely off her rocker. Her list of derangements is short, fortunately, and is limited to (usually) non-violent outbursts. These outbursts are short and far between, otherwise she may not be as welcome. Her normal derangements are hallucinations, some schizophrenia, and the occasional outburst that makes little to no sense on the current conversation.
Appearance Summary: With a lithe build and long brown hair, she is the picture of a normal girl... if she wasn't decked out in armor and throwing knives into people's eyesockets, or babbling incoherently about dragonflies and frog bellies.
