History
There was once a woman so skilled at the bow and hunting that she could track down even demons with her skill. She was a cold as the winter snows, as bitter as the bile that many of her enemies would spit out. For years, she was a tyrant to the kingdom around her, all afraid of her bow. People prayed for a miracle.
One hot night, almost five years ago, the woman was hunting when the kingdom's prayers were answered, and the woman vanished. Then, months later, a new entity appeared, another huntress. But this one... was kind, a savior in the kingdom's darkest hours. No one questioned why her flesh was as black as the night, or why she wept tears even as she brought succor. She did not serve the king like the cold warrior had been, but all called her the Black Huntress.
Over time in this kingdom, there were also words of the Yozis, prayers murmured to them as people began to remember stories of a hunter sent by the Black Boar, a yozi. Their prayers and songs began to turn to him, and the Huntress's work was finished there, and a slender demoness took her place, summoned by the conditions needed to bring her forth.
That night the woman had vanished, she had called for more power, to be given the strength to truly control the kingdom. She got more than she bargained for, hunted like the animals she so cruelly hunted before, and then reassembled by a monster into... something kinder and wiser, and imbued with a shard of flickering green-gold light.
Description
(Astra is being lazy with appearance.) Average height, pure black skin, green-gold eyes with no whites and double pupils in each eye. Dresses very, very conservatively, normally in the color of Creation's forests. If sure she won't be hunting, she wears courtier's garb, but always has her bow.
