As you enter the Brown Water Pirate the first thing to hit you is the smell ... and quite a hit it is. Your senses become overwhelmed by the scent of must, urine, vomit and ale. The air in the bar is thick with smoke and has a salty taste to it. Periodic candles keep the bar from being in complete black and the shades of men fill the dark corners letting you know that this place is indeed inhabited by someone.
The bar keep is oddfully cheery as you approach. He is well lit and the bottles around him gleam in the light inviting you to partake in their fluids. He will introduce himself as Wenrick Kempke. He will continue to be cheerful until you start asking the wrong questions. Kempke keeps his nose clean, but he also knows that his patrons don't. He finds it best not to know, that way if something goes wrong he doesn't get blamed. So as long as you don't ask him to do something illegal he'll entertain you with drinks and stories from the river.
Gameplay: The Brown Water Pirate is not a very large establishment. It's dimensions are 50' wide by 40' long with a 15' ceiling. The entire structure is made from wooden planks, all worn and slightly warped. It would appear that they were taken right from a ship and nailed in place. The tables and chairs are an assortment of accessories, boxes and stumps ... with the occassional table and chair. The dock workers and shadier boat captains like to come here to get away form prying eyes. If this place isn't where you need to find something or someone with connections, then its the right place to start looking.

I am hoping that the circle will be in this area sometime next year, so look for this to be fully fleshed out around the spring of 2005. -Buji
