Grnegsnspm is responsible for the bulk of the new flavor and structure of the Revised Style.

The practitioners of Snake style have always valued one thing above all else. Strength. Strength that lies not only in the building of muscle but strength of the inner self as well. Many believe that this makes them cold, unfeeling brutes who would impose their will upon others. For some, this is not far from the truth. For others, they merely teach those who cannot help themselves to become more than they are. All, however, believe that the key to being able to survive is strength. In the Age of Sorrows, when so many feel helpless, there has been a resurgence of interest in Snake style.

Striking Cobra Technique
Cost: 2 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Martial Arts: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: None

Practitioners of Snake Style believe that attacks are a blend of precision and power and are able to blend the two when attacking. The Exalt may add his Strength score to his normal Dex + MA dice roll for a single attack. The character may not gain more dice in this manner than he has dots in MA.

Serpentine Evasion
Cost: 3 motes
Duration: One Turn
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Martial Arts: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Striking Cobra Technique

The martial artist learns that even allowing your opponent to touch you is a sign of weakness. The Exalt moves his entire body with the ease of a serpent slithering through the grass. The character may add his MA score to all dodge attempts for the round. Not usable with armor.

Snake Form
Cost: 5 motes
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Martial Arts: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Serpentine Evasion

The martial artist assumed the haughty, dominating posture of the Snake. He moves faster and his skin seems to gain a sheen like that of a snake's scales. Perhaps most disturbing is the may the martial artist exudes dominance to the point that others cannot help but feel helpless before him. The Exalt adds his MA score to his bashing and lethal soak. Enemies suffer a die penalty to attempts to attack him or to defend against his attacks equal to the MAist’s Essence score. This Charm is incompatible with armor.

A character may use only one Form-type Charm at any given time.

Diamond Fang Technique
Cost: 3 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Martial Arts: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Snake Form

The student of Snake Style is taught that armor is merely a false protection for those who cannot protect themselves. The martial artist hardens his hands into deadly striking weapons, able to puncture even the toughest of defenses. The character’s unarmed Martial Arts attacks do lethal damage and have the Piercing quality. Not usable with armor.

Striking Serpent Speed
Cost: 6 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Extra Action
Minimum Martial Arts: 5
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Diamond Fang Technique

Essence flows through the martial artists veins and infuses his muscles with power as the martial artist overcomes his own limitations. The player rolls their MA and, for every success, may take an extra action that turn. This charm is not usable in armor.

Revelation-of-Weakness Prana
Cost: 4 motes
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Martial Arts: 5
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Snake Form

To the trained eye, the weaknesses of your opponent can be exploited and none are trained more in this area than the students of Snake Style. For the remainder of the scene, the martial artist may count 10s twice to determine successes on damage rolls for his unarmed Martial Arts attacks. This charm is incompatible with armor.

Uncoiling Serpent Prana
Cost: 3 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Martial Arts: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Revelation-of-Weakness Prana

To a practitioner of Snake style that has reached this level, there is no place where his power cannot be felt. To those around him, he need never lay a hand upon those that he would strike down. The Exalt may make a regular Dex + MA attack on any opponent within a distance of his Permanent Essence x 5 yards away as his anima itself lunges at the foe. If the character wishes to, he may make the attack a clinch. If the clinch is successful, he may maintain the affect every round that he pays for the charm. He must still make a contested roll every round to maintain the hold but does not need to worry about damage from being in a clinch. The attack does lethal damage. This charm is not usable with armor.

Suggestions of the Forked-Tongue Technique
Cost: 6 motes, 1 Willpower
Duration: Special
Type: Simple
Minimum Martial Arts: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Snake Form

The tenets of Snake Style demand not only that their student be physically dominant but mentally as well. The domination of another's will is truly the sign of a powerful being. Using this charm, the Exalt may make a simple spoken command such as "Look over there" or "Stand aside" and expect it to be followed. The martial artist makes a Manipulation + Martial Arts roll vs. the targets Wits score. If the roll succeeds, the target must follow the "suggestion" for a number of rounds equal to the extra successes on the roll. If the roll fails, the target immediately knows he was being manipulated but not necessarily by magic. This charm cannot be used again on someone who resists it for a day. Subjects cannot be coerced into suicide or attacking another person unless already predisposed to do so. This charm does not work on anyone with a higher Permanent Essence. This charm does not work while engaged in combat.

Serpent Among Mice Technique
Cost: 8 motes, 1 Willpower
Duration: Until Broken
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Martial Arts: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Suggestions of the Forked-Tongue Technique

The martial artist's will becomes so strong that he can channel his own superiority through his Anima. When using this charm, the character's anima flares to bonfire, regardless of how much peripheral essence has been spent. All those within the Exalt's Essence x 3 yards that can see him must make a contested Willpower roll. Those who fail can do nothing but gape and even those who succeed find themselves at dice penalty to all actions equal to the Exalt's Permanent Essence. This penalty stacks with those given if the character is in Snake Form. If his concentration is broken for any reason such as the Exalt attacks or is damaged or the scene ends, the negative dice linger for a number of turns equal to the Exalt's Essence. This charm will have no affect on those of a higher permanent essence.

Essence Venom Strike
Cost: 7 motes, 1 Willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Martial Arts: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Striking Serpent Speed, Uncoiling Serpent Prana, Serpent Among Mice Technique

The masters of Snake Style are able to truly test the worth of those who oppose them by making their own essence into a liability and see if they are willing to pay the price for the power it can give them. The Exalt makes an attack roll as normal including rolling damage. However, in additon to dealing damage, the martial artist poisons his opponent's very soul. Calculate and apply Health Levels of damage as normal, then multiply the number of Health levels actually suffered by the Martial Artist's essence - that many motes are now considered to be "poisoned". Poisoned motes may be spent like normal ones but deal a level of unsoakable aggravated damage for each one spent. Personal essence is poisoned first. Poisoned motes of Essence recover at the rate of one mote per hour. This charm is not compatible with the use of armor.
