Charm Concepts
- Careful Game-Rigging Preparation
Supp charm; used before any one Ring roll, 'saves' half rolled sux (rounded up) for later use in any one roll. Multiple uses are not cumulative; only highest outcome counts.
- Deck-Stacking Flourish
Readying any Ring shaping weapon becomes a free action.
- Mark-Baiting Smirk
Simple. Penalty to non-Ring actions for all shaping combat participants.
- Cheaters Always Prosper
Reflexive. Allows rerolling of failed Ring-pool dice at x/die cost.
- Misdirecting Gesture
Defense supp. Removes piercing effect from any one non-Ring attack.
- Sucker Bet
Uncertain effect; possible dropping of defenses for bonus to next attack.
- Know When To Walk Away, Know When To Run
Hopping 'perfect' defense. User 'leaps' a number of waypoints equal to undetermined stat; automatically avoids non-Ring attacks, will not work against Ring attacks if still in range after hop.
- Opening Gambit
Automatically lose initiative at start of battle, but may split up to Ring number of times without penalty.
- Dead Man's Hand
Possible raw-dice complete ignorance of natural (stat-given) shaping soak for one Ring attack.
- Gossamer Cardsharp Stance
Once per scene, may either: reroll any one roll and take higher outcome or recharge any one dice roll to full pool. Also, all WP spent gives two sux.
