I believe the Hook Sword's rate of 6 assumes that it is being used paired. The +3 defense as well - using only one of these blades will get your wrist broken. - Xeriar

Also, the Martial Arts minimum for a Hook Sword is 3. This guy only has MA 2. -Szilard

I'm only adding up to 20 for this guy's accuracy and defense. 6 Dex + 3 Spec + 5 Skill + 1 Prodigy + 5 Weapon (Perfect straight sword and perfect Khatar?). The potions should not be added in - one of them causes addiction and the other takes three minutes to take effect. -Xeriar

Also, being an Essence user, couldn't this guy wear Gunzosha armor by committing 5 motes and not get any side effects? - szilard
