Just a random and probably ill-thought-out attempt to tie Lunar castes to animal archetypes. Just a silly thing I spent about half an hour on because I felt like it. Just the Caste abilities, anima powers, and general descriptions for now. Maybe I'll add to this later if I'm not laughed off the Wiki. :)

Castes

Predator

  • Caste Description: Predators are the warriors, the first line of defense and offense. Predators may be loners or prefer a pack when hunting; this usually depends on the Totem animal of the Lunar, but not always.
  • Caste Abilities - Athletics, Brawl, Melee, Resistance, Thrown
  • Anima:
    • Weak Link: For 2 motes, the Predator can instantly pick out the weak link in any chain; this applies to noncombat situations as well.
    • Pack Mentality - For 5 motes, the Predator and his group can gain +1 initiative for each ally trying to kill the same target. This power only lasts so long as the group it is initially used on focuses entirely on one target; it immediately fails and must be reactivated if any of the group attacks another target.

Herd

  • Caste Description: Herd Caste Lunars are the builders of things, wonders and societies alike. The Herd caste maintains the ritual and the social taboo of the Lunar society. They are most comfortable in a group.
  • Caste Abilities - Bureaucracy, Craft, Lore, Occult, Socialize
  • Anima:
    • Vanish Among the Many - For 5 motes, the character may add (+ Essence) in difficulty to any attempt to find him in a crowd, or to track him through one.

Symbiote

  • Caste Abilities - Linguistics, Marital Arts, Medicine, Presence, Ride
  • Anima:
    • Learn Charms of other Exalts (as Eclipse)
    • Great Communicator - For 5 motes, the Symbiote may add (+ Essence) to any Social rolls for a scene, so long as he is not actively trying to screw over the subject of said rolls.

Parasite

  • Caste Description:
  • Caste Abilities - Archery, Enfurance, Larceny, Performance, Sail
  • Anima:
    • Hungry Fang - Every time a Parasite wounds a target, he may roll his Essence; if he is successful, he can steal one mote of essence from the target. This functions on humans as well as Exalts, but robbing humans of their essence forcefully is generally not good for their health; for every mote stolen in this way, the human must roll Stamina to avoid contracting an illness in the near future. This anima power may be used out of combat, but only once per day per target; however, the parasite gains as many motes of essence from this as he rolls on his Essence roll.

Scavenger

  • Caste Abilities - Awareness, Dodge, Investigation, Stealth, Survival
  • Anima:
    • Guts of Steel - The Scavenger can eat anything. ANYTHING. For 5 motes, this extends to even the normally inedible for a scene (trees, rocks, swords, etc). Inaddition, this power grants (+ Essence) extra dice of damage for all bite attacks when activated.
Comments, etc,

I don't think I'd ever go with this, but I must grant that it's definitely original. That's not an easy thing to do with Lunar castes, so, ... I award you stunt dice. ;-) - Miedvied
