Where the Grand Daiklave represented raw destructive power and the reaper daiklave finese and accuracy, the swordsbane daiklave was designed to cater to the needs of those who valued defensive prowess. Balanced perfectly to allow swift parries over heavy blows they comsemtically look similar to normal daiklaves with the exception of a long slit that runs for a long portion of the blade which skilled weilders use to catch the blades of their opponents and aid in disarming. Any mundane weapons removed from their users grasp using a swordsbane daiklave are shattered.
