DMS Character Creation
Character Creation favours specializtion over generalization in the beggining. Then with the current Exp system Characters tend to spread out rather that deepen there abilities. With flaws characters can easily attain an addittional 15 bonus points. With these 30 bonus points one of the most devasting combat techniques is availible to starting charaters. In addition with current printing of artifact this leads to a rather un balanced character build

combat start activate scene long 20 motes 1 wp gain +5 success all melle rolls
tick 7 activate five fold bulwark, solar saber, second excelency
tick 13 attacks (9,8,5,4,3,2,1) each with onslaught and + succes dv equals 12
tick 15 repeat
and so on total cost after power up is 25 m 4 will and 8 commit
This in and of it self is not an inappropriate strategy or charm set. But for a beginning character to have is a little bothersome to me and a few players. To fix this type of problem I have implemented this new character creation set.
Character Creation
Character begin with a single dot in the following stats, All atributes, All Virtues, Willpower and Essence. Characters then recieve 500 experience to by stats using the following tables. At least one virtue must be rated 3+. Increasing virtues does not increase willpower. Charaters recieve 5 favored abilities that they may chose and also five caste abilities as determined by thier caste(DMSAbilities).
