Even safely in a firecircle an ember can pop and burst and escape the confines. Fire is not constrained you see. So is it that the Terrestials are not constrained even while in a Clinch. During every Clinch test the DB can activate this charm and move both himself and the one he is holding or that is holding him and make a jump equal in distance to at least five times the Blooded's Essence and no more then 5 times his Athletics. If the Terrestial has higher Essence then Athletics count it for both minimum and maximum leap. This charm must be declared before any rolls to decide who is in control of the clinch.

While that is believed impossible there is some truth to the ability of the Dragonblooded to husband their strength for when its needed most. Every full day the Dragonblood uses no Essence she adds a mote to a special pool of motes. Anytime motes are spent by the end of the scene any motes not used from this pool go away and the pool empties. A Dragonblooded can store up to Essence *2 + Breeding in this pool.
