LunarAppearance/BogMod
Stealth
Changing Moonskin Chameleon
Cost: 3m; Mins: Appearance 4, Essence 2; Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Fury, Combo-OK
Duration: Essence in actions
Prerequisite Charms: Any Appearance Excellency
A Lunar can easily change the colour of their skin and such things. They have a knack for such simple matters however there are times when they need truely complex clothes and skin colour alterations and need it fast. With this a Steward can be the perfect chameleon and work skin and clothes to hide themselves even in plain sight. Activating this charm lets a Lunar make a normal Dexterity + Stealth roll even in conditions where such would be impossible normally. If used in combat they can immidiently try to hide and those fighting them do not get the +2 to their Wits + Awareness roll to spot the Steward. Moving at a running pace or swinging limbs at a speed quick enough to harm breaks the effect.
When used in a flury the Lunar may make a reflexive stealth roll at the end of every action to vanish and hide once more. During the tick they attack they become visable but as above can immidiently try to escape notice once the tick ends.
Disguise
Flawless Possum Method
Cost: 5m; Mins: Appearance 4, Essence 3; Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Combo-OK, Illusion, Compulsion
Duration: Until broken
Prerequisite Charms: Any Appearance Excellency
Though no Steward would want to admit it there are times when it is best that people think you are dead. More common in the Second Age this charm has helped more then one Lunar avoid death at the hands of the Wyld Hunt. The Lunar rolls Manipulation + Performance and any wound penalties are instead counted as a dice bonus. If the Lunar beats the MDVs of those present they believe the Lunar dead. Further it installs in them a belief that they do not need to do anything with the body. For the cost of 4 points of Willpower someone can see through this charm. It also ends should the Lunar do things that dead bodies shouldn't do such as getting up and walking around. Laying there and regenerating though is fine thanks to the Illusion effect of the charm.
