Silver River Town
Silver River is a border town between Thorns territory and Marukan. However, as it sits on an important tributary and two trade routes, it is a bit too important for either nation to let the other claim it. As such, it has been turned over to the Guild to oversee.
The town consists of a marketplace, which has anything the passing caravans feel like selling, in addition to a general store, cart repair, and pack animal shops. It is better known for the number of teahouses and "massage parlors," as well as for the Realm and Lookshian Embassies on the opposite sides of town. In fact, due to the size of these embassies, the location is almost three different towns.
The Lookshian Embassy is a fortress. Well defended and secured, it is practically impossible to get in without the proper papers. They are well aware of the potential problem that the collated secrets represent, and the safe that contains them and their codes is nigh impenetrable and designed to destroy everything if tampered with.
The Realm Embassy is also well protected, but not as paranoid about security as Lookhy is. It is a large, well appointed compound.
