Perception Advantage Charms
Diving Eagle Precision
Cost: -- (+1m); Mins: Perception 5, Essence 3; Type: Permanent
Keywords: None
Prerequisite Charms: Eagle Eye Advantage
Like a bird of prey snatching its' next meal from the water, the Lunar who readies herself to attack cannot miss. By spending 3m as a reflexive noncharm action when taking an action benefiting from aiming with the prerequisite charm, the dice gained are converted directly into successes.
Unbroken Eagle's Gaze
Cost: -- (+1wp); Mins: Perception 4, Essence 2; Type: Permanent
Keywords: (Fury-OK)
Prerequisite Charms: Eagle Eye Advantage
Matching the unblinking gaze of the eagle, the Lunar takes no effort to find her enemy's weakness. This charm has two effects; by spending 1wp when activating Eagle Eye Advantage, the duration of the charm becomes scene-long, permitting her to aim for up to 6 ticks at any time during the scene. In addition, Eagle Eye Advantage gains the Fury-OK tag, and allows the benefits to be gained on any aim action while in a Fury. Aim actions do not count as actions for the purpose of the Fury's duration.
Far-Reaching Sentinel's Senses
Cost: --, Mins: Perception 5, Essence 4, Type: Permanent
Keywords: None (Gift, Fury-OK)
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Any Keen (Sense) Technique
The Stewards' senses are alert beyond compare; this charm adds the Gift and Fury-OK tags, collectively, to Keen (Sense) Technique and Heightened (Sense) Method. With the Gift keyword, for +1m to the cost of Deadly Beastman Transformation, the Lunar may activate all Keen [Sense] Technique charms that she knows; for a separate cost of +2m, she may activate all Heightened (Sense) Methods. In Fury, she may spend 2m for each such charm cluster; however, Keen and Heightened Senses count as a single charm for the limits on how many charms the Lunar may activate.
Lilia Lan, an Essence 4 Lunar with Keen Sight and Hearing/Touch Techniques, and Heightened Hearing/Touch enters a Fury. She commits 4m to activate both her Keen Sight and Hearing/Touch Technique clusters, as well as Heightened Hearing/Touch Method. Despite this being three charms, they are considered a single charm, allowing another three Fury-OK charms to be active.
Her Fury ends, and she shifts into her War Form, committing 3m to gain the benefits of all three charms; 1m for both Keen Senses, and 2m for Heightened Hearing/Touch Method.
Imperceptible Flaw Recognition
Cost: 1m; Mins: Perception 5, Essence 4
Type: Reflexive (Step 10)
Keywords: Combo-Basic, Shaping, Stackable
Duration: Indefinite
Prerequisite Charms: Eagle Eye Advantage, Eye of the Cat
The Stewards can exploit flaws in even the most perfect of defenses. She may invoke this charm whenever a target of one of her attacks uses a charm to defend against the attack. Entangling the essence flows of her target, she creates a blockage, a flaw in the defensive charm she can later exploit. The Lunar rolls her Perception+Essence against a difficulty of her target's Essence, adding any dice or successes the original attack gained from the Aim action (or Eagle Eye Advantage); on a success, she may commit one mote. As long as the mote remains committed, that defensive charm suffers a 1-mote surcharge as a shaping effect. She may commit no more than her Perception in motes to any single charm.
She may commit up to [Perception] motes to a single charm on subsequently defended attacks, even to different charms, but may commit only one mote per attack. If multiple charms are used in a single defense, she chooses which to commit the mote to.
If used with an attack enhanced by Eagle Eye Advantage, the Lunar may commit as many motes for a single defended attack as ticks she spent aiming for the attack.
Wound-Harrying Pack Methodology
Cost: -- (+1wp), Mins: Per 5, Ess 5
Type: Permanent
Keywords: --
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Imperceptible Flaw Recognition
Alone, a Steward is fearsome; in a circle, the Stewards are unstoppable. When participating in a coordinated attack, all coordinated allies' attacks may benefit from the mote surcharge she has imposed upon the enemy's defensive charm use; this costs 1wp as a noncharm action if the Lunar is not the leader of the coordinated attack.
Essence-Savaging Practice
Cost: -- (+1m), Mins: Per 5, Ess 5
Type: Permanent
Keywords: -- (Crippling)
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Imperceptible Flaw Recognition
The Steward's ingenuity in exploiting impossible weaknesses can give even fearless Cataphractoi pause. Rather than weaving subtle flaws in the defenses of her enemies, she now simply tears the flows asunder to force hemmorhaging of essence. By spending one extra mote [which is not committed], her Imperceptible Flaw Recognition loses the Shaping keyword; its' effect is now Crippling.
Comments
Welcome
Diving Eagle Precision seems like a good charm, though part of the text is not needed. No success adder counts against any dicecap, Except Second excelency, though DV has an absolut cap at Doubeling.
- I might instead recommend altering what must've been the old text to say something more along the lines of "As will all success adders (save the 2nd Excellency), these successes do not count against the die cap." It's one of those things that isn't immediately obvious, and as our electronic 1's and 0's don't have particular page counts, it's always good to reinforce things that need to be reinforced. -- GreenLantern
