The Blossom is a delicate, graceful whip, designed to entrap the victims of its wielders. A chain nearly ten yards long of a feathersteel and black jade alloy, the Blossom ends in a spearhead of green jade set in a crystal socket. The chain is light as air and hums sweetly as it is swung, and the blade is sharper than a shard of adamant. In addition to its statistics (which do not include their jade MM bonus), the Blossom adds the wielder's essence to clinch attempts. When it succeeds in a clinch, the wielder may use the ability that gives the weapon its name. The head opens like a barbed lotus and each delicate chain link sprouts thorns, hooking into the target. For each turn that a target has been in a clinch, reduce their die pools by one until the scene ends.
