Years of Artistic Frenzy
During the Iridescent Decade the very fabric of time in Creation had been damaged and altered to a degree unseen even during the Primordial War. The effect of this altered time was that history did not truly move the way it was supposed to - it did not flow ever forward as it should have. It was the Sidereal savant Wine-Colored Edge who fixed the flow of time and made Creation flow the way it was designed to flow - forward.
The time period directly existing after the Iridescent Decade is known as the Years of Artistic Frenzy. It is a period of unknown time (some savants say a around a year others say centuries) when Creation was trying to return itself to normalcy. Though actual time was back to normal, the fallout of the time alteration of the past played havoc with the minds and spirits of those that lived in the period right after.
One of the changes that savants were able to pierce together that occurred was the dead returning to life. Not all dead, just those that died during the period in which time had been altered and changed. It seems that Creation was not able to truly process the changes and so kept those in a sort of reserve until a future time when they could handle it. The reboot process undertaken by Wine-Colored Edge caused the Tapestry of Fate to reassign them back again, thus they appeared to have returned to the living.
Another symptom of the fallout was the change from memories of the past to dreams of the past. Since the Iridescent Decade did not exist according to normal laws of time the events of that period did not technically happen. Due to this memories became dreams and it this effect that gives the period its name. Able to look back at what had occurred in the time that was not time caused a period of heightened creativity and developments in the arts, the sciences and the magics. Untold artistic pursuits came about during this time when even the most pauper peasant could dream of great events and untold glories. New statues, paintings, and writings blossomed during this period and awakened a spirit that would have done Autochthon proud.
