This artifact brings the dragon lines into contact with the body to improve the flow of essence, aid in respiration, and reduce commitment. The artifact is a series of wires of either orichalcum, moonsilver, starmetal, or five interwoven jades, traced around the spine of the user. Soulsteel versions do exist, but the respiration features function only in the underworld - the other types do not work there. The exalt increases all of his respiration rates by his essence, and gets a phantom essence pool equal of ten motes to use for committing artifacts and no other purpose.
