The solars of the first age, though world-spanning in majesty, still required the concentrated power of hearthstones to activate much of their equipment. As the sheer complexity of their equipment multiplied, they found they were slowly running out of demenses, and sometimes they just didn't have the time to make more world. So this device, one never needed in more plentiful times, was created.

The device is a small hemisphere of adamant with a tracery of jade ore. It fits perfectly into hearthstone sockets, and can itself hold a hearthstone. When a device would normally draw power from a hearthstone, eliminating any other benefits the stone would grant, this device returns the hearthstone's powers. It does not grant the normal hearthstone essence regeneration bonus, but it will grant its magical powers. Thus, if used to socket the powering stone of a warstrider or suit of powered armor, the hearthstone's abilities are not lost. Any exalt type may attune to this device fully for its normal cost.
