Chesu stands well over 6 feet, a massive, thickly muscled man with a close-cut beard and sharp nose.  His eyes burn with greasy light, as though filmed with blood.  Some who know him claim that his family's losses against the Bull of the North sparked his terrible bloodlust - those who know him well, however, whisper quietly among themselves that he at last has an excuse to behave as he has always wanted to.  He acknowledges Sharlu as leader of the Hunt for two reasons only: first, she has proved that she can kill him if she chooses; second, whenever she calls out the Hunt, battle follows soon thereafter, and he lives for nothing else.
