Harborhead is one of the great kingdoms of the South. It is the favored land of Ahlat, the southern god of war and cattle, and has been a satrapy of the Realm for centuries. It is one of the lands where the Unconquered Sun is still worshiped openly.
The ruler of Harborhead is titled the Leopard Seat, and he (or she) is guarded by the Brides of Ahlat. In times past, the Leopard Seat has ruled largely at the Empress' pleasure. The capital is the city of Kirighast, on the coast.
