The Champion must often put himself in harms way for the good of God and State. Vital areas of the body are protected by areas designed to buckle in certain ways upon impact to ensure survival where damage can not be avoided. The first Essence hits an Alchemical takes that would do more than 1 level of damage only inflict one level of damage. This effect applies after all other damage modifications have happened and if the Alchemical is through their own charm activations or artifact use suffering the damage this effect doesn't work nor does the Alchemical have control over it. It is an automatic effect.

Submodules:
Integrated Compensators (Essence 3) A Champion who has Strain-Resistant Chassis Modification or Subcutaneous/Exoskeletal Armor Plating installed can install this charm for 0m instead of 1m and it does not take up a charm slot.
