Calvina Hobbes, Ancient Cat-Girl Admiral of the Deep

Cats normally hate water. But there's a few weirdos in every family, as they say. During the Harem Age, Calvina Hobbes was wed to the Kensai Bishonen Rober Filmer. He was the Governor of the Coral Province (Incorporating roughly the northern half of the Grand Line and the surrounding waters), and she was the Admiral of his navies. In their spare time, they collaborated on works of philosophy which justified the necessity of absolute rule by the Exalted in order to avoid the anarchy inherent in the state of Nachure. (Nachure being an eastern province ruled by its Bishonen and Catgirls as a land with no laws at all, as a social experiment. A very messy one which helped convince the Helping Goddesses to overthrow Bishonen rule, mind you...)

When the Magical Girls came for the two, they fought back desperately, but their trusted flunky, Jane Locke, betrayed them, justifying the whole thing with contract theory--people form governments to protect their rights; when government transgresses those rights, the people have a right of revolution. They were still trying to mount a counter-argument when their Helping Goddess Advisor, Davina Hume, announced she had no reason to believe Rober actually existed, since his powers were so exaggerated that clearly they must have been made up and how could you trust the reports of stupid mortals anyway? He suddenly evaporated, demonstrating the sheer deadly power of the Sceptical Elmination School of Marital Arts. Calvina proved her own reality by biting off Davina's head, only to have the Ultimate System glitch so that Davina was suddenly inside a fortress on the other side of creation, having a mint julep while her harem boys took care of her.

This really made Calvina mad.

She attempted to rally her fleet, only to find it had evaporated also. Finally, she fled off into Oniboshi, staying there for centuries until the Moonsilver Pact found her, liberating her from a giant Oni aquarium.

In the interlude, she had become accustomed to remaining in various aquatic forms and now rarely ever takes a human or any other land-dwelling form unless she must.

Calvina Hobbes has risen to become the premier Moonsilver Pact leader in the West. She is well on her way to controlling the ocean floor; once she secures that under her arbitrary rule, she intends to then take the pathetic land dwellings. She also wants to find her old husband's reincarnation, as she wants a partner in this. For that matter, it might be wisest to get a whole circle of husbands to handle various tasks she's not as good at. Arbitrary Power Has Its Privileges.

Personality

Calvina expects TO BE OBEYED. She's capable, with effort, of restraining herself in the face of equals, but not by much. She tends to think every relationship is 'submit or dominate'. She intends the latter. When people obey her, she is the sweet voice of reason, a deep thinker who can be persuaded to change course if she hasn't absolutely made up her mind. Those who deny her will have to be forced to BOW to her.

She loves philosophical debate, and has a hidden taste for karaoke, but is too uptight to show that off in public if she can help it.

She hates Davina Hume more than anything else in the universe, and will, given the chance, be willing to take fairly crazy risks to finally get the woman.

Peanut Gallery

It looks really nice, althou, I really do wish to find out more about how she ended up in a giant Oni Aquarium... if possible, given that it sounds like it would likely have been something amusing. ^_^ ~ haku
