The Abyssals

Abyssals have a bit of an edge in some arenas versus Solars. Particularly, they have a better means of regaining Essence in Creation versus Solars in the Underworld.
Caste Changes
Moonshadows may not learn non-Abyssal Charms. Oathbinding costs 5 motes to activate instead of 10. SeeXerExaltedLite/CelestialAnimas for other details.
Other Changes
As harbringers of death, death alone is not enough to stop an Abyssal. During her teeter on the walk of life, she plots for her own death. During what might be considered life, she may pay 1 experience point to 'learn' an Arcanos known to a ghost she sends to Oblivion. She is not limited to one per slaying, only by experience available and the number of unknown Arcanoi. These are of no use to her in life, however.
If and when she does perish, she is reborn in the Underworld as three beings. Loyalty to their previous Deathlord is optional - their minds are now directly linked to the Malfeans as a spectre's are, though they retain considerably more sanity.
- First, a ghost with her chosen Arcanos, in addition to, if she posesses them, Shadowlands Circle Necromancy, any such spells, any Terrestrial Martial Arts, and any Talents legal for ghosts to purchase. Her Willpower, permanent Essence, Attributes, Virtues, Abilities and applicable Merits remain unchanged, unless they exceed the maximum allowed for a ghost with her permanent Essence and Merits. This form is in complete control of the remaining two.
- Second, a Revenant made from the stuff of her corpse. It posesses the same physical attributes as it did while in life, with no alterations, and any Talents and Merits which directly apply to physical prowess. Its Manipulation and Intelligence are both 2 (assuming the original was 2 or higher), and a Wits and Presence of half the original form. It posesses her original Abilities, up to a limit of the Revenant's Wits. It is more than a corpse, and actually heals as a mortal does.
- Finally, her Po is unleashed in all its unholy glory. It's Presence, Manipulation, Wits and Intelligence are half of the original body, while she adds her permanent Essence to the original body's Brawn and Dexterity to determine the Po's scores. It posesses any applicable Merits and Talents, as well as any Arcanoi purchased that may still be used in a feral state.
Abyssals with permanent Essence greater than 5 create more impressive trios of terror.
