Solar Larceny Charms
Distant Grasp Approach
Cost: 2 motes or 2 motes, 1 Willpower Duration: One turn or scene Type: Simple Minimum Larceny: 4 Minimum Essence: 2 Prerequisite Charms: Stealing From Plain Sight Spirit
By activating this Charm and focusing on an item within eyeshot, the Solar may manipulate the item using nothing but his own Essence. The item cannot weigh more than the Solar's Permanent Essence in pounds, but he may do with it anything he could do with his hands within the Charm's duration. During a single turn, he can move the item up to (Permanent Essence x10) yards. Attempts to use Abilities, including attacking or defending with a weapon, may suffer penalties for visibility if performed at range (Awareness Charms or other benefits can offset these penalties as normal) but are otherwise performed as standard action.
This Charm lasts for only a single turn if activated for 2 motes, but with the additional expenditure of a Willpower point the duration may be extended for a scene. If activated for a scene's duration, then any manipulation of the item is considered to be a dice action, which might require dice pool penalties for multiple actions as normal.
For any roll which involves Strength (including damage), the Charm grants the item an effective Strength of one.
