In the Gods of Eden setting, this is one of the most basic Charms any Sidereal can learn. It augments the "Auspicious Prospects for (Caste)" Charm set, duplicating their arrangement in that there are five variations of this Charm, Sidereals may buy all five, and Sidereals always treat their Caste's Charm as favored. As a special rule, Sidereals who purchase either this Charm or Auspicious Prospects may purchase the companion Charm for the same Caste at half the normal experience cost.

The Path of Paradise is a map or a set of steps, similar in spirit to a Lunar Songline. Unlike a conventional route, it describes a path through the Loom of Fate itself - places to go, actions to take, things to do or see. The end result is a world where the Sidereal's ideal vision is realized. Sidereals discern the signposts and landmarks of the Path in a variety of ways. Conventional omens, curious turns of phrases that draw one's attention, the arrival of a stranger, and many other triggers can cause the Sidereal to become aware that he is still on the Path, and in what direction his next steps must go.

Mechanically, the Storyteller may notify a Sidereal PC at any time that he has become aware of the Path, and what the trigger was. Such awareness generally comes via the character's ordinary senses. For example: "Yago, you look into the face of Joseph, the humble farmer, and feel significance in the sight of the long and winding dirt road stretching out behind him." This Charm does not necessarily inform the PC of the action to take, although in some cases it may make suggestions that resemble this: "You look at the queen, sensing the Path is red with her blood."

The Sidereal may use other Charms, such as Auspicious Prospects, or other forms of divination to read the significance of the omens they experience through this Charm. Sidereals enacting group divination may find the signs muddled, as their personal Paths may diverge to a greater or lesser degree.
