Lunar Sorcery Charms by CrownedSun
Lunar Sorcery I (Sorcery)
Glare of the Evil Eye
Cost: 1 mote Duration: Indefinate Type: Simple Minimum Perception: 2 Minimum Essence: 2 Prerequisite Charms: None
The hate-filled stare of a mortal witch is said to carry some of her malign will, but the gaze of a Lunar Nightwitch can be more powerful still. The Lunar with this charm can create an Arcane Link between herself and any target within her gaze. She need merely level a hard stare at the opponent for one turn and commit a single mote of essence; the arcane link lasts for as long as she keeps that single mote commited. In addition to it's use with many sorcery spells, such arcane links can be demonstrated and used in minor thaumaturgy -- giving the Lunar +1 dice to any rolls involving the subject to which she's forged a link.
Mind of Moonsilver Style
Cost: 2 motes per success/difficulty Duration: Instant Type: Reflexive Minimum Wits: 3 Minimum Essence: 3 Prerequisite Charms: Glare of the Evil Eye
This charm makes the Lunar's mind like Moonsilver, deforming and flowing around obstructions and distractions while remaining whole. The primary use of this charm is in the casting of sorcery, but Lunar Exalted can use it for other purposes as well -- anything from performing surgery on a battlefield to holding a conversation while arrows rain down around you. This charm works on any Wits-related roll that has to do with concentration, including the Wits+Occult roll to continue to cast Sorcery when distracted. The Lunar may spend 2 motes to either convert a point of Wits to an automatic success or reduce the difficulty of the roll by 1. The Lunar cannot convert more dice of Wits than he actually has, but is not limited in how far he can lower the difficulty. Any dice beyond wits are rolled normally.
A No Moon may use this charm even while casting sorcery, without penality. It ignores the usual restrictions of using charms while casting sorcery. This charm may be put in a combo with Terrestrial Circle Sorcery, if the Lunar wishes to use both on the same turn.
Emerald Circle Mastery
Cost: 5 motes per spell, 1 willpower Duration: One scene Type: Simple Minimum Intelligence: 4 Minimum Essence: 3 Prerequisite Charms: Mind of Moonsilver Style, Terrestrial Circle Sorcery
A Lunar with this charm becomes a master of the Terrestrial Circle, able to fully form and shape the essence in a mere fraction of the time that it takes a lesser sorcerer. When he activates this charm, he builds powerful patterns of essence in his mind and around him, favoring the essence to the creation of certain kinds of spells of the Emerald Circle. Every five motes spend activating this charm allows him to favor one such spell, to a maximum number equal to his Essence rating. The Lunar may cast those spells as simple actions, without requiring a turn of concentration, for the rest of this scene or until he ceases the effect.
While this charm is in use, the Lunar's mind is totally focused on casting the selected spells. This has no effect (at all) on the casting of Celestial Circle spells, but if the Lunar tries to cast a Terrestrial spell other than the spells he's favored he must spend an extra turn shaping the effect over and above the normal time. This extra turn is spent countering the influence of this charm. The Lunar may reflexively cancel this charm at will if he wishes to do so.
Celestial Circle Sorcery
Prerequisite Charms: Emerald Circle Mastery
Lunar Sorcery II (Tattoos)
Lunar Sorcery III (Artifacts)

I like the first two charms, the second one, the one that lets you cast sorcery faster I remain unsure about. Overall I can see this as a perfectly good alternate tree. -BogMod
Thanks; I'm a bit unsure about <Circle> Mastery myself. I like it in general, as an idea, because I want sorcerer's (not just Lunars) to be able to improve their abilities as casters other than just by buying the basic sorcery charms. However, I'm not sure if it should be a /required/ charm for No Moons to learn Celestial Circle sorcery. Any ideas for alternatives?? -- CrownedSun
