Pasiap’s Waystones

When Ragara Sylenia gathered architechts to construct the Waystones, one of those she approached was her cousing, Ragara Jasur. Jasur was a stolid, dependable Dynast who seemed properly devoted to the House and the Realm, and he leapt at the chance to help make the Threshold more safe. He was also a soldier by nature, and constructed his waystones with defense in mind. Ultimately, he left the project to resume his military commission, and was killed by Fair Folk in R.Y. 464.

Jasur’s contribution, the Pasiap’s Waystones, are much like those of Mela on the surface, but the Earth Dragon coils lengthwise around the altar, leaving a pathway for those wishing to pray to walk through, surrounded by his coils. The area inside the waystone is thus slightly more sheltered, but only just. Pasiap’s face is angled to watch pilgrims go by, a knowing smile on his face.

Game Mechanics

Manse Level 2. Drawbacks: Habitability 2 (Statue surrounding altar path.)

Powers:

Armoured (3 pts): The statues of Pasiap are phenomenally difficult to destroy. They have 14L/21B soak

Limited Mobility (2 pts): If attacked or damage, the statues of Pasiap promptly sink below the earth, requiring extensive effort to unearth to destroy. They remain there for one full day per structural level of damage taken, after which they resurface. Anyone inside the manse’s area finds themselves standing on flat earth when this happens.

Well-Flavoured Aspect (1 pt): The area within a Pasiap’s Waystone resonates with the Earth Dragon. All Earth-aspected Dragon-Bloods gain +1 die to all rolls while within the bounds of the statue.

All of the Pasiap’s Waystones are fitted with a Gemstone of the Enduring Traveller. This Level 2 Hearthstone allows a character to add two successes to any roll to resist fatigue or travel for long periods of time.
