Back to Mortal Combos

Archery

Increased Accuracy: For each 1 pt, the character adds 1 die to the accuracy of an attack (max +3 dice).
Reduced Difficulty: For each 1 pt, the character reduces external penalties (not DV or range penalties) by 1, to a maximum of -3.
Increased Damage: For each 1 pt, the character adds 1 die to the base damage of an attack (max +3 dice).
Increased Range: For each 1 pt, the character adds 25 yards to the bow's range increment (max +75 yards). (Note: Firedust weapons add only 2 yards.)
Fluid Shot: For 1 pt, a single attack does not apply a DV penalty to the character's DV.
Quick Shot: For 3 pts, a single attack is -1 Speed (max -1).
Duration: For 1 pt, the effect applies Until Next Action. For 2 pts, it covers Five Actions, and for 3 pts, it has a duration of One Scene.

Poor Shot: A shot with -2 Accuracy grants 1 pt.
Weak Shot: A shot with -2 Damage grants 1 pt.
Short Shot: A shot with -50 yards range grants 1 pt.
Slow Shot: A shot with +1 Speed grants 2 pts.
Focused Shot: A shot that applies an additional -1 DV penalty grants 1 pt.

Martial Arts

Increased Accuracy: For each 1 pt, the character adds 1 die to the accuracy of an attack (max +3 dice).

3 pts grants -1 Speed. This may be chosen only once.
Duration: For 1 pt, the effect applies Until Next Action. For 2 pts, it covers Five Actions, and for 3 pts, it has a duration of One Scene.

Drawbacks may only be taken if the effect has a Duration. 1 pt inflicts -2 to one of the following for a single roll: Unit Accuracy, Unit Damage, roll to prevent rout, roll to rally, movement rate. Each of these may be chosen up to three times.
1 pt inflicts -1 DV. This may be chosen twice.
2 pt inflicts +1 Speed. This may be chosen only once.
