Iron Glamour Understanding
Cost: 5 motes, 1 Willpower, 2 Gossamer Duration: One story Type: Reflexive Minimum Heart: 3 Minimum Essence: 4 Prerequisites: Any Bastion of the Self Charm
Cold-wrought iron is a powerful tool against the raksha, but some understand that it is not the bane that it is made out to be, merely another obstacle to be overcome. Activating this Charm grants the character partial resistance to iron.
Firstly, instead of having no natural or Charm-based soak against iron weapons, the character instead halves her soak. The damage is still aggravated. Secondly, instead of instantly unweaving works of Glamour, the touch of iron instead applies the resisting character's Resistance Trait + Essence as automatic successes against the character's work per scene.
Steel-Forging World
Cost: 5 motes, 1 Willpower, 4 Gossamer Duration: One story Type: Reflexive Minimum Heart: 4 Minimum Essence: 6 Prerequisites: Iron Glamour Understanding
A master of glamours understands how useless iron is against themselves. The character wraps herself in powerful gossamer, altering the fabric of iron that seeks to undo her.
The character may soak damage from iron weapons as though it were lethal damage normally; damage is still aggravated. In addition, iron has no effect on the character's works of glamour.
