Shard Creation

Shards persist throughout time. They are the Third Soul of Celestials, and no known means exists to destroy them, for attempts to toss anything containing them into Oblivion destroys the container first, and the Shard escapes.
Every Shard is tuned to one to three souls. Or, perhaps, these souls become tuned to them - regardless, about a thousand souls reflect the heroic myths of humanity, and draw the Shards.
Shard creation is simple. Add Shards add 1 to Permanent Essence, for a beginning total of two (2).
Shards also provide 10 charms, 5 of which must be from Caste / Auspicious or favored traits, none of which may be from Sidereal Martial Arts.
Shards also provide an additional 30 bonus points to spend on anything desired.
In no case may Shard Bonus Points grant a Sidereal-Level Martial Art charm.
Trained Characters gain 2 additional Charms and +1 to each of 5 Chosen Abilities.
