Running Wind is tall and strong. He has a light tan, blonde hair, and blue eyes. To those who know of such things his features give away his Northern heritage. Until his Exaltation he worked as a farmhand during the growing season and as a carpenter's apprentice during the rest of the year. He was quiet mostly, and people in his village thought he had some hidden wisdom for it, but it was mostly because he couldn't think of anything to say. Destiny was merely waiting for him to take a stand and be a hero.
The experience around his Exaltation has made him bitter and somewhat untrusting. And due to his isolation from other Exalted he knows only of the legends of the Anathema in regards to what he is. With his strong connection to the memories of his shard and some leg-work while in Nexus, he's managed to figure out that he is a Solar of the Dawn Caste, what the manse he found really was and what he's capable of so far. However, the memories of the insane god-king that last held the shard from the time of the Primordial War to the Usurpation still has him putting stock in the Immaculate dogma that the Anathema are cursed, insane demons, and the urges and attempts to take control by the throwback haven't helped the situation.
