The Will of the Lawgiver makes itself known on every battlefield where it is present - every person who sees it understands the power it holds, and only the strongest may resist it. It is an orichalcum reinforced breastplate, gleaming and glorious, with traceries of black jade around the joints between plates. It's true potency is in the sigil that is on the center of the chest - an icon of the uconquered sun, with several characters of writing in the center. The writing is immediately understandable to any being capable of reading at all who look at it, and the message that it carries is quick and to the point - "Fight by my side, or fall by my hand."
Whenever a being looks at the chest of the armor, it makes an unnatural persuasion attempt on its target. The number of successes is equal to the wearer's charisma. This effects a compulsion to either fight on behalf of the wearer or lay down their weapons and surrender. The target must spend two willpower or become committed to the intention listed. Increase the target's MDV by three if an exalt has used twisted words technique or a similar charm on the target this story. The exalt may spend five motes to roll a virtue and add successes to the initial number of successes against a single target.
