The weapon is a grand daiklave, with an blade primarily of adamant; it is a hollow shell of the indestructible glass, filled with arcing sparks of solar fire, brilliantly tearing through darkness. the cutting edges are made of orichalcum, and the light from inside the blade seems to make it grow brighter, stronger, as it swings. The weapon channels the perfection of the Unconquered Sun into its blows, automatically converting a number of dice equal to the bearer's essence into automatic successes on any attack it makes. Every attack that the bearer makes counts as Holy, and inflicts aggravated damage against creatures of darkness. Any creature of darkness who attempts to attune to it will take one level of unsoakable aggravated damage each turn until they release attunement.

Artifact 5, commitment 10 Speed: 5, Accuracy: +5, Damage: +14L/6, Defense: +3, Rate: 3, Tags: 2,O,P,R

This blade was the one wielded by Re-Kia when she destroyed the primordial Lykkennan, rending his flesh from soul and sending him to die, where his size and power blocked the very entrance to oblivion. It was one of the greatest works of one of the twilights from before the first age, and the core of the blade is actually the fire of the Unconquered Sun himself, which he poured from his cupped hands at the request of the craftsman who made the weapon.

This weapon has been cursed by it's great deed, and is currently known as Shattered Whispers of Unborn Souls, but a sufficiently detemined solar might find a way to restore the blade.
The weapon does not include the magical material bonuses for orichalcum.
