Person's Heart
Aspirations of the Heart
Cost: 1 gossamer Duration: One story Type: Reflexive Minimum Essence: 1 Prerequisites: Assumption of the Person's Heart
The raksha can use its own feelings as a part of a being's heart to enhance that beings abilities. This ability affects normal rather than shaping actions.
Heart's Will: For 1 mote, the raksha can reflexively grant a one-die Wyld bonus to a single action performed by the being who's heart is being assumed. The player of the raksha or his target must define how the target uses the strength flowing from within, and the raksha must have the Assumption of the Person's Heart active on the targeted being.
For example, a martial artist might gain a bonus to a hold roll by drawing on the sudden rush of righteous anger from the raksha.
Heart-Weaving Style
Cost: 1 gossamer Duration: One story Type: Reflexive Minimum Essence: 2 Prerequisites: Aspirations of the Heart
The raksha can briefly shape the person's heart and take control of his body to perform an action.
Body Controlling Art: For 5 motes, the raksha's player may take a single action using the body of the being affected by Assumption of the Person's Heart. Any applicable rolls use the raksha's traits and the raksha must have an action free to use with this ability.
Dreaming Heart Invocation
Cost: 10 motes, 1 gossamer Duration: Instant Type: Supplemental Minimum Essence: 2 Prerequisites: Heart-Weaving Style
By drawing on the dreams and nightmares of the being who's heart has been assumed, the raksha is able to give his possessions shape and form.
As other invocation charms
Alternative option (comments and suggestions please)
This charm allows a possession of the rakshas to be summoned for a scene at the cost of a normal action (ie no shaping action cost).
- This is specifically designed as a more mutation friendly varient.
Mad God Magic
This tree is intended to allow raksha to convert wyld stunts into actual spells. The rules on when a raksha can use Wyld-stunts in creation still apply (see pg 104 E:FF and the style background)
Mad God (Element) Magic
Cost: 1 gossamer Duration: One Story Type: Reflexive Minimum Essence: 3 Prerequisites: Assumption of Elemental Shape, Mad God Mien
By combining his Wyld powers with an element the raksha may trick creation into treating a Wyld-stunt as a terestrial circle spell.
Element Spell: For 10 motes the raksha may roll (manipulation+larceny difficulty 10-Essence) to reflexively turn a witnessed Wyld-stunt into a terestrial circle spell provided a spell appropriate to the stunt described exists. This spell must be clearly connected to an element that the raksha has assumed with Assumption of Elemental Shape.
Instead of the larceny roll, it might make more sense for the effects of the spell to be treated like glamour and be resisted based on traits, although that is less fun.
