Flat XP Costs
Why?
Mainly, because I don't like the way the current system favors some builds over others. A given charachter should cost the same amount of XP, no matter what order stuff is bought in! Discussions/XPMinAlgorithm gives a good explanation of the problem. These are basicly arrived at by averaging the cost. I like this better than using BP as the ratio between things is wonky for BP(Charms cost to much), and you don't run into problems with charms that cost XP or things like Essence Arrow which have sub-effects.
The Info
For each of these, there is split depending on if the new level is in the 1-5 range or above that. I would probably assume there are charms to reduce the cost in the "Eldar" range.
Ability(1-5):5(-1 if favored) (Averaged from 0-5. Actual costs are 4.6 and 3.6)
Ability(6-10):14(-1 if favored) (Divied evenly this time)
Attribute(1-5): 8 (-1 if favored)
Attribute(6-10): 28 (-1 if favored)
Virtue: 7 ( actually, 7.5. I rounded down as I find virtes to be overcosted a bit.)
Willpower: 9( Second edition), 12 (First Edition)
Comments
For willpower, cost is averaged over raising it to 10, starting at 6 for first edition and 7 for second edition, as these seem to be the most common values. -FlowsLikeBits
