Description
Atrahasis' personality can be described in one word: clever. Atrahasis is not a particularly "wise" fae, but he is intelligent and wields that intelligence like a sword. He is curious, an observer, yet he rarely betrays his curiousity. He has potential to be an excellent diplomat, for he is subtle, has a keen eye towards social dynamics and an innate talent for manipulating them softly. However, he is almost always disinterested in the result of such politics and dynamics, far more focused on the observation and manipulation themselves than what they achieve. In other words, he enjoys excercising his cleverness far more than using it for a particular purpose.
Atrahasis' motive for following Qingu is the sense of something static to observe, and possibly to manipulate. It is rather difficult to observe pure chaos, for it is always changing; each observation becomes worthless every second as the observed shifts into something else entirely. He is entirely loyal to Qingu -- undoubtably out of respect for him -- but he often tries to play the advisor to Parrill's king, subtly prodding him in slightly different directions, pushing him so as Atrahasis is offered more chances at employing his cleverness, etc. His massive respect for Qingu disallows him from outright manipulating Qingu (or trying to; he probably would not succeed); but he cannot help his clever nature. He is largely nonviolent and is rarely capricious, even by non-fae standards.
Qingu will probably choose him above his other fae henchmen because of this last quality -- his lack of capriciousness -- in addition to his potentially excellent diplomatic skills. He will hope that Atrahasis will try to care about the effect of making allies with the Lunars as much as he cares about the means to that end.
Atrahasis has a mane of blue-black hair that falls to his shoulders and swirls around in the air when he uses his powers, as if he were underwater. His face might as well be a mask carved out of ivory and pearl. He appears to have no mouth except a slight indentation, and his countenance is almost always expressionless, except for an enlightened and objective air about it. His eyes are large and jet black across their whole surface, impossible to read and daunting to look into.
Atrahasis wears a delicately carved glass plate armor and a purple and green embroidered robe over it. Sheathed across his back is a long glass knife. Underneath the robe, in a belt around his waist, is a chain of 33 small sheathed glass throwing knives.
He has the stats of a regular cataphract, only with a higher Thrown than Archery (I think cataphractoi's Thrown is only 4 or something).
His virtues are: Comp 4, Conv 3, Temp 5, Valor 4.
Willpower is 9.
Essence, I think, should be 4, which makes his Essence pool 49.
With 4 Essence, he would know the first four Subtle Undercurrent charms.
I think he'd also want to take that nifty quicksilver weapon the Domino fae had, if he finds it.
