Stats: Smashfist
A black smashfist, attached to a gauntlet that extends all the way up a tall pauldron, this black jade and orichalcum smashfist is designed to channel the power of the user into sheer, destructive might.
The smashfist's size adds a +1 cover bonus against close and ranged attacks. More importantly, the smashfist allows the user to pay two motes in step one of an attack; that attack pulses with energy, doubling raw damage; against inanimate objects, instead double pre-soak damage including extra successes.
At a cost of three motes, the user may make an unarmed martial arts attack at up to fifty yards away, firing a bolt of white light.
At four motes, both effects can be used together.
