By means of this Charm, the Lunar can perceive spirits in the immediate vicinity, gaining an approximate idea of their forms and actions. Provided he is circumspect, and no Charms aid the spirit, this observation is undetctable. Furthermore, this Charm allows the Lunar to sense the true form of a materialized spirit - a Lunar will know that a spirit masquerading as or possessing a human is not what it seems. With a Perception+Occult roll, the Lunar can differentiate between different sorts of spiritual beings, and even learn Yozi assossiations of demons. This Charm is a ''Rage'' and may be activated in tandem with Relentless Lunatic Fury for the cost of 1 mote, giving its benefits for the Duration.

Using the Devil-Restraining Grip, the Lunar can immobilize a spirit with a snare of Essence, binding it to her as if on a leash. If the spirit is dematerialized, she can drive it into the realm of the material world, and once the spirit is in physical form, it is prevented from materializing. The Lunar rolls Perception+Occult, with a difficulty equal to the spirit's Permanent Essence, The spirit must be within (the Lunar's Essence x10) yards. If the Lunar suceeds, the spirit may not move further than its Essence trait in yards from the Lunar and must materialize, even if it does not possess the Charm.
 +

 +
If it does not have enough essence to materialize, it is drained from the Lunar's reserves. If both lack the essence, this Charm is wasted. The spirit may attack the Lunar freely once material, but every success beyond that needed to ensnare the spirit imposes a -1 penalty for all the spirit's actions. The snare is set in place for the rest of the scene. The Lunar may pay 1 extra willpower when enacting this Charm to affect a number of targets equal to twice her Perception that she can percceive.

The Lunars are able to utterly destroys spirits, destroying their patterns of Essence as ravenous god-eating beasts. The Lunar rolls Intelligence or Perception+Essence - the number of successes adding to the dice of post-soak damage of the attack, and all of the damage of the attack is aggravated. Spirits killed by this attack are gone forever, and they can sense Exalts who know this Charm, and treat them with the wary respect reserved to those who can slay gods. This Charm is a Rage and may be activated in tandem with Relentless Lunatic Fury for the cost of 2 motes, becoming able to deal Aggravated Damage against Spirits for the duration of the Fury.

Covered in the essence of the physical world, the Lunar's hands and eyes shine red in tooth and claw. Around him, a great image of his totem appears, not as an anima, but overlapping almost as armor. The blood-red natural essence burns around its eyes and limbs as well, and the Lunar's eyes and weapons shift to accomodate this essence, leaking blood-red trails of vapor as his body creates and burns the utterly physical, living essence. With that, the Lunar takes the shape of the Warden of Heaven in all its fury. In this form, the Lunar is inimical to any and all spiritual beings.
 +

 +
He can see all immaterial beings for the remainder of the scene, and damage them as though they were materialized, his strikes with natural or moonsilver weapons dealing aggravated damage. Further, he rolls Intelligence or Perception+Essence - the number of successes adding to the dice of post-soak damage of his attacks during the scene. Spirits killed by this attack are gone forever, and while this Charm remains active, all Spirits are aware of his presence, and all social pools with spiritual beings start at 0 before charms - it is a declaration of war.

Lunars can feel the scent of more than only spirits. They can feel anything, feeling power like a lizard feels the scents in the air with its tongue. With a sniff, the Lunar names a type of Supernatural Being that might be within (her Essence x5) yards and makes a Perception+Occult roll against their Essence. If the Lunar suceeds, he finds out if they are there or not, and instantly recognizes them if they can be perceived by his senses.

The death of a creature releases her body's essence, which becomes her lower soul. This lower soul, or animal soul, also know as ''po'' protects the body, but it has no other function. By means of this Charm, the Lunar unleashes her essence upon a dying foe, entraping his animal soul and consuming it for his own needs! Upon killing a foe, the Lunar activates this Charm, the Lunar rolls his Essence + the target's Essence, receiving 2 motes per success. The dead body will not leave a Hungry Ghost. The Lunar may also use this Charm on any creature within his Essence in yards that has died at any time in the last minute. The Exalt may not exceed his maximum temporary Essence with this Charm. This Charm is a ''Rage'' and may be activated in tandem with Relentless Lunatic Fury for the cost of 2 motes, giving the Lunar 2 motes every time he kills a foe while in the Fury.

With their great insight on how the world works, Lunars can understand little signs in an area that say much. With this Charm, the Lunar converts dice equal to her Essence in dice to the Perception+Occult roll to notice Manses or Demesnes up to a number of miles equal to the successes in the roll(with a +1 difficulty for Mannses).  Additionally, the Lunar also learns if there is a Sanctum of a major deity or there have recently been great disturbances in Essence, such as Wyld storms and the use of Celestial and Solar Circle Spells or other great Essence-disturbing cataclysms in the area of effect.

Lunars can apply their knowledge of Essence to change it, as is their mandate, changing the very nature of this world. Using this Charm, the Lunar rolls Intelligence+Occult with a difficulty equal to a Demesne or Manse's level. On a success, it cuts the time nessessary to shift the Aspects of a Demesne from ''Years'' to ''Weeks'', as long as the motes for the Charm remains committed and the usual rituals are performed. By committing the willpower, the Lunar can shift its Aspect from Terrestrial to Celestial, and vice versa, taking only as long as it would take for it to shift between different aspects of its same type.

Using this Charm, a Lunar can understand the world around him to such a degree that he can adapt his senses to detect the flows and patterns of Essence in the world around him, as well as any dematerialized spirits present. The Exalt can instinctively sense the direction and strength of flows, as well as the locations of power of loci such as Manses and Demesnes up to his Intelligence in miles. Ascertaining more detailed information requires a Perception+Occult roll. A single success grants the Lunar basic information about the examined essence, such as identifying the nature of a sorcery or the general geomancy of a region, while additional successes provide more in-depth and specific information. This Charm is a ''Gift'' and may be activated in when the Lunar shifts into a Hybrid Form. The Lunar may commit 4 motes to make the effects of this Charm last for as long as he remains in Hybrid Form.

As Celestial Exalted, Lunars can easily learn the simplest forms of altering Creation's Essence to their whims, reaching the Terrestrial Circle. Note that invoking this Charm only enables the character to cast a single Terrestrial Circle spell. The actual spell itself has an Essence cost, often very high, that the character must pay to actualize the spell. This cost is listed on the spell's description. Terrestrial Circle Sorcery may never be part of a Combo.

The No Moon are the greatest adepts of sorcery for combat purposes on Creation, and with the tatoos, devised ways to enhance their sorcerous might even further! With knowledge of the flows of essence and the shape of the world, the Lunar chooses a particular pattern of essence he knows, and engraves a tatoo in his flesh that resonates with it, shifting their internal geomancy to something that fills the gaps as he weaves, making the weaving of the pattern faster, more sure. The Lunar may commit 4 motes of Essence and name a spell – as long as the motes are committed, the spell has its weaving time cut in one turn. Terrestrial Sorcery is woven instantly, and Celestial Sorcery takes one turn to weave. The Lunar may not choose more spells than his Permanent Essence for this.

The pinnacle of Lunar Sorcery, even the No Moons reach it with hardship, and for all other castes, it is a odyssey in and of itself. The first spell is invariably cast during the New Moon, as the Lunar's anima reaches and becomes the Moonlight for miles. Note that invoking this Charm only enables the character to cast a single Celestial Circle spell. The actual spell itself has an Essence cost, often very high, that the character must pay to actualize the spell. This cost is listed on the spell's description. Things from beyond creation are the enemy of all Luna's Chosen. Surrounding herself with a halo of silver light, the Lunar strikes out a Creature of Darkness and, with the knowledge of its Essence, breaks it apart! With a touch, the Lunar causes the Creature of Darkness to lose (the Lunar's Essence x3) motes in a brilliant display of Essence. If the target also fails a Willpower roll with  a difficulty equal to the Lunar's Essence, the target also reduces its Permanent Essence by one dot  for all purposes. Creatures reduced to 0 Permanent Essence  by this Charm are destroyed permanently. Reduced Permanent Essence returns at the rate of one dot per day; Essence Pools refill normally.

The Lunar is able to shift more than his flesh – but also the flows of essence are little more than woven, shaped in a specific form. With this Charm, the Lunar is able to interfere in another’s sorcerous shaping, turning the construct of essence in a beast ready to devour the opponent. The Lunar may activate this Charm when he touches a spell being cast – he has to be able to touch it, physically. Then he then makes an opposed roll of his Intelligence+Occult against the caster’s. If the Lunar wins, the opponent is considered to have botched his roll to hold the spell together, and has to deal with all of the horrible consequences of it. The Lunar has shifted his body to the chaos of the essence around him, and flows with it - not only is the Lunar immune to the consquences, but he can move away a number of yards equal to the Spell's mote cost. This Charm is only effective against spells of a Circle that the invoking Lunar has the ability to cast, and it fails against spellcasters with a higher permanent Essence rating than the Lunar.

The No Moon Caste possesses the ability to shape essence as if it was their own bodies. Against them, no construct of raw essence is a perfect weapon. The Lunar's caste mark burns the color of the essence construct he faces as the Lunar shifts the harmony of his essence to it. With a touch(after a successful Brawl or Martial Arts attack or parry by the Lunar - this cannot trigger on a successful parry by the defendant, as the Lunar is directed, and does not have a hold in it), the Lunar can then change the construct one of the following ways:
 +
* Snuff it out entirely. Sentient Essence Constructs may pay 1 willpower and 1 health level to negate it.
 +
* Shift and redirect it - in the case of an essence weapon, the Lunar may make an attack with it, against its owner or any target within its range. In the case of an essence armor, the Lunar may attack its wearer with an Intelligence+Occult roll, with the armor's soak value as its damage rating, in an attack that can only be defended with Resistance charms and natural soak. The owner of the Essence Construct may pay 1 willpower to cancel the charm before such use, however.
 +
* Absorb it, gaining a number of motes equal to the cost to activate the charm. Many Lunars do so by placing their jaws on the construct and literally <i>eating</i> it. The owner cannot cancel his construct the same manner as above. Sentient Essence Constructs may still pay 1 willpower and 1 health level to negate it.

The Lunar changes his essence... harmonizing it with the world. He opens the gates to pure change and madness within him, and the world around him echoes it in turn. Around him, essence changes and shifts. The world begins to change in the essence of nightmares and dreams and moonlight. Shadows become windows to the Lunar's soul, and within their own essences, all can feel the shadow of the Lunar's. The Lunar's chaotic essence fills an area of (Essence x10) yards. The chaos of this area hinders those within in a variety of ways...
 +
* Within, all creatures that oppose the Lunar suffer an enviromental penalty equal to his Essence in dice to all their physical actions.
 +
* Within, The Lunar may also take Shaping Actions within the Field, as if he had Graces equal to his corresponding Virtues.
 +
* Within, the very nature of Essence works differently, unable to hold a proper shape. Charms that would last for a scene last only One Turn, and that goes for all scene-length charms currently working in the Charm's area, which only works for one more turn after the Field of Primordial Madness is used before needing to be renewed. This includes Sutras. Charms with the Duration of One Day or greater have their Duration measured in a number of turns equal to their owner's essence, in turns. Charms of Instant Duration work as normal, their essence not lasting long enough to be twisted. The Lunar's own Charms have their durations affected by Field of Primordial Madness, with the exception of the Field itself, of course.
 +
During the Primordial War, this Charm had a different, longer path to its enlightement, and saw much use in countering the World-Shaping of the Primordials.

The hearthstone becomes 'socketed' in his flesh, in any of the focuses of essence in a body - such as the forehead, the back of the hands, the navel, the back of the neck, and others. The Lunar must commit 2 motes per stone thus held, and may not hold more Hearthstones than he has dots of Permanent Essence.

The Lunar sculpts the essence of his soul, becoming a Demesne, his form capping it as a Manse, essence flows exploding about his form. He closes his eyes, and when they open, they are crystalline, the color of a Hearthstone. Windows for his soul, showing the channelled Essence within. For the scene he activates this Charm, the Lunar is permanently at the 4-7 anima banner display, and the nimbus of Essence around the Lunar deals his Essence in aggravated damage to all who clinch the Lunar or are struck by him, which is soaked separately. But the true reason for all the display is not that. In his eyes, there is the Hearthstone formed by this Manse, one of a level equal to the Lunar's Essence at most, and as low as 1. It is considered to be socketed in a Moonsilver artifact on the Lunar's body, giving the usual benefits. This Charm is a ''Gift'' and may be activated in tandem with a Hybrid Form for the cost of 6 motes, giving the Lunar the benefit of a total number of Hearthstone Dots equal to his Essence as long as he stays in the Hybrid Form.

Sinking his feet into the ground, the Lunar expands his Anima to the iconic level, and lets it soak in the world around him. An area of the Lunar's Essence x100 is filled with the glow of the Lunar's anima, images important to the Lunar appearing in all shadows and reflective surfaces. The whole area becomes the Lunar - much like a Primordial, the Lunar becomes greater than a single being. He becomes part of the world. It is all his body, and his soul. As long as this Charm lasts, the Lunar may not leave the area, but within it, the Lunar...
 +
*... can sink into the ground as a Simple Action, moving like blood, multiplying his movement rating by his permanent essence.
 +
*... may take Shaping Actions within the area as if he had Graces equal to his Virtues...
 +
*... converting a number of dice equal to Manipulation in automatic successes to those Shaping Rolls.
 +
*... gains twice his Essence in -0 Health Levels.
 +
*... doubles all stunt-dice earned within, as well as all rewards for stunts.
 +
*... and finally, receives a connection to the land. The Lunar can see throughout this whole area, as if he was standing there, able to roll Perception+Awareness as a dice action to feel any part of the area with any of his senses(one per success). He knows the land lives or dies on his existence, and thus, may always channel Compassion and Conviction while this Charm is in effect, and their bonuses are converted to automatic successes instead of dice, always.
 +
When the Lunar is hurt, the area responds accordingly, and a Lunar destroyed while connected to the area leaves only barren ruins.

Lunars can drink the shape of any material creature and attain their form. Beasts, Men, Chosen, even Primordial Behemoths are theirs to consume... but not the beings of the spirit world. Raw essence in a facsimile of flesh, their blood is useless to a Moonchosen... but their soul is not. Devourer of Divinity's Light enhances all Lunar attacks that can permanently destroy spirits. When they are successful in forever vanquishing them, the Lunar receives a number of motes equal to the sum of the Spirit's Virtues, which are received as if the Lunar had just spent as many, in an impressive anima flare(the Lunar can choose to ''not'' to receive those motes!)
 +

 +
In addition, the Lunar may drink their soul's shape. The Lunar pays Experience Points equal to the Spirit's Essence Rating, and permanently receives his form in his Blood Library. The Lunar receives none of the being's Charms, but all of its physical attributes, appearance and innate abilities(such as Berengiere's Landslide, Octavian's Oil and Gumela's range) are given to the Lunar. Those shapes are always material. The Lunar also becomes able to take the shape of spirits with more transient Charms such as Life of the Hummingbird.

The Lunar may commit 4 motes as to become able to respire essence normally in those realms indefinetly, and becomes recognized as a God in Yu-Shan, able to drink blood for Essence if she is a ghost... of course, that makes the Lunar vulnerable to things that affect dwellers of those realms, becoming in Essence a God, Wyld-Spawned being, Outside of Fate or Creature of the Darkness for the purpose of Charms that affect those. The Lunar may reflexively end this Charm when attacked with such Charms. This Charm instantly activates, at no cost, when the Lunar dons a shape of a inhabitant of this Realm.

Driking the blood of dragons, a Lunar can take the face of a Prince of the Earth, marked by the scales of the Dragons, commanding the respect of the world as a Chosen of the Dragons does. However, it is a merely physical guise, the elemental powers of the body untouched for the Lunar. But they are there. The power of the Dragons is on the Blood, and by harmonizing his essence and shape, perfecting his geomancy to it, the Lunar is able to draw on its raw connection to the elements, blossoming in power as one of the Dragon-Blooded!
 +

 +
Taking the shape of a Terrestrial the Lunar has consumed the Heart's Blood of, the Lunar may flare his anima with their colors, and maintain his Form up to the 13+ level of anima banner without his Tatoos or Tell showing. This anima has all the characteristics of a Terrestrial Anima Banner, including the damage wrought by this anima. While in this form, the Lunar may use the Anima Power of the Terrestrial and receives no surcharge to practice Martial Arts aligned to the desired Element, qualifying for any other bonus a Terrestrial would receive while practicing it. Mask of Hearth and Flame allows the Lunar to use the Blood Power of God-Blooded, Demon-Blooded, Fae-Blooded, Ghost-Blooded and other half-human creatures.

Harder to harmonize with are the raw powers of the Celestial Exalted. Their power is not on their body, but their soul... and suffused as it is with their energies, their blood holds faint traces of it. That, however, is enough. Drawing that raw, simplest connection with the lights of heaven, the Lunar manages to mimic the light of the many types of Celestial Exalted the Lunar has consumed the Heart's Blood of, and stretch the tolerance of Luna’s truth, able to flare his anima with their colors, and maintain his Form up to the 13+ level of anima banner without his Tatoos or Tell showing. The Mantle is actually four different Charms...
 +
* ... Mantle of (Empyrean) Radiance allows them to shine with the light of the Solar Exalted.
 +
* ... Mantle of (Entropic) Radiance allows them to shine with the darkness of the Abyssal Exalted.
 +
* ... Mantle of (Auspicious) Radiance allows them to shine with the light of the Sidereal Exalted.
 +
* ... Mantle of (Shifting) Radiance allows them to shine with the light of the Lunar Exalted.

In those forms, the Lunar may pay 1 willpower to be able to use the Exalt's Anima for a number of turns equal to her Essence. While in the form of Lunar Exalted, this duration is doubled. When in the shape of Auspicious or Emyprean Radiance, the Lunar experiences the Blossom of the Perfected Lotus, and may be taught and practice Sidereal Martial Arts. This allows the Lunar to assume their Infernal version, but their animas are usually different ones then.

Drawing on the channel opened by the consumed shapes in her soul, the Lunar opens her body to the essence of the Exalted, shifting her internal geomancy to resonate with them. The Essence of the Elements fills her body, turning it into flame or charcoal when channeling a consumed Fire Aspect, salt water and seaweed when channeling a Water Aspect, eyes of ruby, tatoos spreading and turning crimson over her body, turning into representation of weapons when channeling a Chosen of Battles. This allows Charm allows the Lunar to call on the anima banner of other Exalted when in other forms. The Lunar may activate an extra anima by activating this Charm once again and committing another 5 motes, joining elements in steam, incense, prismatic light and others. As long as the motes remain committed, the Lunar...

When a Lunar drinks the Heart’s Blood of another and takes his face and life, the victim’s star flickers out and dies. They become invalid targets for Astrology and other effects that target them by name or specific identity. Many Lunars, having to face Sidereals or infiltrate more esoteric places, cannot bear this weakness in their perfect disguises. Any form the Lunar acquires after learning this Charm keeps its destiny intact: the moonchild devours it together with the victim’s shape, although this destiny remains subordinate to the Lunar’s own destiny and will. The shape is still a valid target for Astrology and any and all Sorcerous effects the target one by their trune name or identity, for good or bad. Ongoing effects, such as Astrology, affect the Lunar as soon as she shifts to the victim’s form. Instant effects, such as Infallible Messenger, target the Lunar no matter her form, but she can feel as they do, and negate them with the expenditure of 1 mote. The Lunar does not know what she has negated. The Lunar may instantly and permanently sever this Fate if she wishes by meditating on the New Moon for a number of hours equal to its Destiny and paying 1 willpower.

No demon is a full creature. They are component souls, part of the immense geomancy that defines the creators of existence, the Primordials. A million invisible strings connect them, give them power, keep them in thrall. With the use of Green Sun Child, a Lunar becomes able to don the face of a Primordial Soul, shifting her geomancy to be part of that great whole. For other such souls and the Primordial Itself, the Lunar appears to be the Soul she has taken the form of. She can hear the whispers of the Primordial on the back of her mind, and can even be taken over by it – although, unlike normal demons, she can spend 1 willpower to force herself out of the Demon’s shape rather than following the Yozi’s orders. She also becomes able to use the ‘Gift’ of the Primordial in this demon’s shape – the one ability of the demon that is a direct channel of its parent’s power.

Essence

Spirit

Spirit-Scenting Technique
Cost: 3 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Perception: 2
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite Charms: None
By means of this Charm, the Lunar can perceive spirits in the immediate vicinity, gaining an approximate idea of their forms and actions. Provided he is circumspect, and no Charms aid the spirit, this observation is undetctable. Furthermore, this Charm allows the Lunar to sense the true form of a materialized spirit - a Lunar will know that a spirit masquerading as or possessing a human is not what it seems. With a Perception+Occult roll, the Lunar can differentiate between different sorts of spiritual beings, and even learn Yozi assossiations of demons. This Charm is a Rage and may be activated in tandem with Relentless Lunatic Fury for the cost of 1 mote, giving its benefits for the Duration.

Devil-Restraining Grip
Cost: 8 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Perception: 3
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Spirit-Scenting Technique

Spirit-Maiming Essence Attack
Cost: 5 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Perception: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Devil-Restraining Grip

Fury of Heaven's Warden
Cost: 6 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Perception: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Spirit-Maiming Essence Attack

Fellow Hound Insight
Cost: 4 motes
Duration: Reflexive
Type: Instant
Minimum Perception: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Spirit-Scenting Technique
Lunars can feel the scent of more than only spirits. They can feel anything, feeling power like a lizard feels the scents in the air with its tongue. With a sniff, the Lunar names a type of Supernatural Being that might be within (her Essence x5) yards and makes a Perception+Occult roll against their Essence. If the Lunar suceeds, he finds out if they are there or not, and instantly recognizes them if they can be perceived by his senses.

Breath-Drinking Executioner Attack
Cost: 2 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Perception: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Spirit-Scenting Technique
The death of a creature releases her body's essence, which becomes her lower soul. This lower soul, or animal soul, also know as po protects the body, but it has no other function. This Charm is a Rage and may be activated in tandem with Relentless Lunatic Fury for the cost of 2 motes, giving the Lunar 2 motes every time he kills a foe while in the Fury.

Geomancy

Curious Cat Eyes
Cost: 4 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Primal Intelligence

Changing the Dragon's Scales
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Variable
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Curious Cat Eyes
Lunars can apply their knowledge of Essence to change it, as is their mandate, changing the very nature of this world. Using this Charm, the Lunar rolls Intelligence+Occult with a difficulty equal to a Demesne or Manse's level. On a success, it cuts the time nessessary to shift the Aspects of a Demesne from Years to Weeks, as long as the motes for the Charm remains committed and the usual rituals are performed. By committing the willpower, the Lunar can shift its Aspect from Terrestrial to Celestial, and vice versa, taking only as long as it would take for it to shift between different aspects of its same type.

Pulse of the Invisible
Cost: 8 motes
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Curious Cat Eyes
This Charm is a Gift and may be activated in when the Lunar shifts into a Hybrid Form. The Lunar may commit 4 motes to make the effects of this Charm last for as long as he remains in Hybrid Form.

Terrestrial Circle Sorcery
Cost: 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: None
As Celestial Exalted, Lunars can easily learn the simplest forms of altering Creation's Essence to their whims, reaching the Terrestrial Circle. Note that invoking this Charm only enables the character to cast a single Terrestrial Circle spell. The actual spell itself has an Essence cost, often very high, that the character must pay to actualize the spell. This cost is listed on the spell's description. Terrestrial Circle Sorcery may never be part of a Combo.

Primordial Fire Harmony
Cost: 4 motes per spell, 1 health level
Duration: Indefinite
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Terrestrial Circle Sorcery, Moon-Chasing Chrysanthemum Pattern

Celestial Circle Sorcery
Cost: 2 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Primordial Fire Harmony, Pulse of the Invisible
The pinnacle of Lunar Sorcery, even the No Moons reach it with hardship, and for all other castes, it is a odyssey in and of itself. The first spell is invariably cast during the New Moon, as the Lunar's anima reaches and becomes the Moonlight for miles. Note that invoking this Charm only enables the character to cast a single Celestial Circle spell. The actual spell itself has an Essence cost, often very high, that the character must pay to actualize the spell. This cost is listed on the spell's description. Celestial Circle Sorcery may never be part of a Combo.

Withdrawal of Assumptions
Cost: 3 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Pulse of the Invisible

Divine Fire Shattering
Cost: 8 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Pulse of the Invisible

Breaking the Shape of Divinity
Cost: 5 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Divine Fire Shattering
The No Moon Caste possesses the ability to shape essence as if it was their own bodies. Against them, no construct of raw essence is a perfect weapon. The Lunar's caste mark burns the color of the essence construct he faces as the Lunar shifts the harmony of his essence to it. With a touch(after a successful Brawl or Martial Arts attack or parry by the Lunar - this cannot trigger on a successful parry by the defendant, as the Lunar is directed, and does not have a hold in it), the Lunar can then change the construct one of the following ways:

  • Snuff it out entirely. Sentient Essence Constructs may pay 1 willpower and 1 health level to negate it.
  • Shift and redirect it - in the case of an essence weapon, the Lunar may make an attack with it, against its owner or any target within its range.
  • Absorb it, gaining a number of motes equal to the cost to activate the charm. Many Lunars do so by placing their jaws on the construct and literally eating it. The owner cannot cancel his construct the same manner as above. Sentient Essence Constructs may still pay 1 willpower and 1 health level to negate it.

Field of Primordial Madness
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower, 1 health level
Duration: Intelligence in Turns
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Breaking the Shape of Divinity
The Lunar changes his essence... harmonizing it with the world. He opens the gates to pure change and madness within him, and the world around him echoes it in turn. Around him, essence changes and shifts. The world begins to change in the essence of nightmares and dreams and moonlight. Shadows become windows to the Lunar's soul, and within their own essences, all can feel the shadow of the Lunar's. The Lunar's chaotic essence fills an area of (Essence x10) yards. The chaos of this area hinders those within in a variety of ways...

  • Within, all creatures that oppose the Lunar suffer an enviromental penalty equal to his Essence in dice to all their physical actions.
  • Within, The Lunar may also take Shaping Actions within the Field, as if he had Graces equal to his corresponding Virtues.
  • Within, the very nature of Essence works differently, unable to hold a proper shape.

During the Primordial War, this Charm had a different, longer path to its enlightement, and saw much use in countering the World-Shaping of the Primordials.

Holding the Dragon's Pearl
Cost: 2 motes per stone, 1 willpower
Duration: Indefinite
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Curious Cat Eyes
Shifting his flows of Essence, the Lunar turns his body into a living artifact, able to hold a Hearthstone as one.

Radiant Dragon Eyes
Cost: 10 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: Holding the Dragon's Pearl
This Charm is a Gift and may be activated in tandem with a Hybrid Form for the cost of 6 motes, giving the Lunar the benefit of a total number of Hearthstone Dots equal to his Essence as long as he stays in the Hybrid Form.

One With the World
Cost: 20 motes, 1 willpower, 1 health level
Duration: Until Abandoned
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 7
Minimum Essence: 7
Prerequisite Charms: Field of Primordial Madness, Radiant Dragon Eyes
Sinking his feet into the ground, the Lunar expands his Anima to the iconic level, and lets it soak in the world around him. An area of the Lunar's Essence x100 is filled with the glow of the Lunar's anima, images important to the Lunar appearing in all shadows and reflective surfaces. The whole area becomes the Lunar - much like a Primordial, the Lunar becomes greater than a single being. He becomes part of the world. It is all his body, and his soul. As long as this Charm lasts, the Lunar may not leave the area, but within it, the Lunar...

  • ... can sink into the ground as a Simple Action, moving like blood, multiplying his movement rating by his permanent essence.
  • ... may take Shaping Actions within the area as if he had Graces equal to his Virtues...
  • ... converting a number of dice equal to Manipulation in automatic successes to those Shaping Rolls.
  • ... gains twice his Essence in -0 Health Levels.
  • ... doubles all stunt-dice earned within, as well as all rewards for stunts.
  • ... and finally, receives a connection to the land.

When the Lunar is hurt, the area responds accordingly, and a Lunar destroyed while connected to the area leaves only barren ruins.

Steal the Light

Devourer of Divinity's Light
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Spirit-Maiming Essence Attack
Lunars can drink the shape of any material creature and attain their form. Beasts, Men, Chosen, even Primordial Behemoths are theirs to consume... but not the beings of the spirit world. Raw essence in a facsimile of flesh, their blood is useless to a Moonchosen... but their soul is not. Devourer of Divinity's Light enhances all Lunar attacks that can permanently destroy spirits. When they are successful in forever vanquishing them, the Lunar receives a number of motes equal to the sum of the Spirit's Virtues, which are received as if the Lunar had just spent as many, in an impressive anima flare(the Lunar can choose to not to receive those motes!)

Mask of Worlds Beyond
Cost: 4 motes
Duration: Indefinite
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Devourer of Divinity’s Light
A Lunar who has learned to take the shape of spirits can do more than take a simple shape, and actually adapt her internal geomancy to resonate with the lights and essence of a spiritual enviroment, becoming in essence a being from this world!

Mask of Hearth and Flame
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Intelligence: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: None
Driking the blood of dragons, a Lunar can take the face of a Prince of the Earth, marked by the scales of the Dragons, commanding the respect of the world as a Chosen of the Dragons does. However, it is a merely physical guise, the elemental powers of the body untouched for the Lunar. But they are there. The power of the Dragons is on the Blood, and by harmonizing his essence and shape, perfecting his geomancy to it, the Lunar is able to draw on its raw connection to the elements, blossoming in power as one of the Dragon-Blooded!

Mantle of (Type) Radiance
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Mask of Hearth and Flame

  • ... Mantle of (Empyrean) Radiance allows them to shine with the light of the Solar Exalted.
  • ... Mantle of (Entropic) Radiance allows them to shine with the darkness of the Abyssal Exalted.
  • ... Mantle of (Auspicious) Radiance allows them to shine with the light of the Sidereal Exalted.

Heaven-and-Earth Mask
Cost: 5 motes
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Intelligence: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Mantle of (Type) Radiance

  • ... receives one automatic success on all the Abilities or Attributes of the Caste she channels.
  • ... may pay 1 willpower to be able to use the Exalt's Anima for a number of turns equal to her Essence.
  • ... is counted as one from the Caste she channels for the purpose of Charm surcharges and benefits of weapons and attunement.
  • ... may practice Sidereal Martial Arts, if using the Banner of a Sidereal or Solar Caste.
  • ... may use Shaping the Ideal Form to appear to be an Spirit of the appropriate type - an Elemental when channeling a consumed Terrestrial, or a God when channeling a consumed Celestial, a Ghost when channeling a consumed Abyssal. To appear as an specific spirit is a roll with a difficulty equal to 5+ the being's Essence, using Shaping the Ideal Form. The Lunar does not become a spirit, but can at least fake their appearance. Demon-Blooded and Fae-Blooded allow the Lunar to appear as Demons or Faerie, again with the proper type in mind(Tracing the demonic lineage, and the characteristics of the Fae-Blooded's parents)

Flickering Star Infusion
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Intelligence: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Mask of Hearth and Flame
