Each level increases the amount of Essence regained per hour by two motes; this functions even when the character is under extreme physical duress and would normally gain no Essence. Additionally, each level of this Charm reduces the character's Anima Banner threshold by one; a character who has purchased this Charm four times immediately flares to the 4-7 level when she spends any Peripheral Essence. This bonus functions as per standard Essence regeneration rules for Shadowlands and the Underworld (Exalted: The Abyssals, p. 25).

Should work as normal in Malfeas or the Wyld, unless I'm forgetting some other rule about regaining Essence in either locale. Fractioning and surcharges should be calculated after the bonus is added in, if the need arises, but flat reductions of base regained motes (such as when under physical strain) are considered before the bonus, which might lead to a character regaining motes even when in Essence-inhibiting shackles, depending on the wording of their effect. _[[Jabberwocky]]

Solar Lore Charms

Banner of Celestial Thew

Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Lore: Varies
Minimum Essence: Varies
Prerequisite Charms: None

The Solar rule of Creation grants their Essence a certain dominance over the natural flows that cross Creation. By harmonizing and baring their anima to ambient Essence, Solar Exalted can speed the resuscitation of spent motes at the expense of subtlety. This Charm may be purchased once for each dot of Essence the character possesses; an equivalent Lore is also required.

Banner of Celestial Thew looks clean and balanced, much like a Charm-based version of the Breeding background. And it's nice to see the word Thew used somewhere outside of a þing. :) How does it work in Malfeas or the Wyld? - Quendalon

_Jabberwocky
