Crimson Temple Style Modifications
Some thoughts on that style: (Feel free to argue or offer up alternatives of your own.)
This is a style that will be less useful on Automata, The Dead, and things without blood, such as many gods, some demons, etc. Just pointing that out.
Pulsing Heart Observation: I suggest we make this reflexive reduce the cost to 2 motes, and I'll offer you a houserule that you may commit those motes to keep it going until you sleep.
The form charm: You may also block lethal attacks without a stunt. (Though why you would want to is beyond me.) And I am going to Nix the leech effect. (No healing through damage.) Instead I offer you that the enemies wounds continue to bleed at a rate set by the martial artist in bashing levels up to the martialartist's permenant essence per turn.
Scarlet Sheath: I am going to require that your attack be successful and do at least 1 health level of damage. (This is not explicit in the write up.) However in return, the weapon you gain, regardless of it's shape has the same stats as a daiklaive without MM bonus.
Tormenting Blood Echo: effects that allow for hand to hand attacks at a distance (including artifacts like shock gauntlets) can use this charm. (Another example: If you use the Scarlet sheath to draw forth a bow, that counts. And we'll work out some rules for the ammo, but whatever.)
Magnificent Scarlet Storm: I am just going to make the increased difficulty an environmental penalty that does not effect the user. That reduces its power in some ways, but makes it valuable against all incoming opposing actions.
Red Monarch Shape: This only requires a perm essence of 4. Free reflexive dodge against all incoming attacks that can be dodged at full dodge pool, plus immunity to bashing damage, and cool mobility stunts so add Mart to Athletics rolls. However I am droping the regeneration effect.
