BURNISHED DRAGONS CHARACTER CREATION
Step 1: Aspect: Choose any of the Dragon-Blood aspects from the Dragon-Blooded core book. Note Jade Caste anima ability from the Autochthonian core book.
NATURE: Choose any from the corebook.

ABILITIES: Dragon-Bloods choose three (3) favoured Abilities, in addition to five caste abilities, and spend 12 points in these abilities. They then spend 18 points in any ability. Abilities remain limited to 3 pts, unless bonus points are spent. Burnished Dragons follow New Estasian ability rules, plus require Lore and Occult 1.

Shadow Dragons choose their Backgrounds from the following Steel and Glass list: Abyssal Command, Allies, Artifact, Backing, Breeding, Contacts, Familiar, Henchmen, Library, Liege, Influence, Manse, Mentor, Reputation, Resources, Spies, Underworld Manse, and Whispers.
Shadow Dragons pay double for Liege or Whispers and may not purchase either background above 3, even with bonus points.
Shadow Dragons also have access to the resources of their masters. As such, the first time Artifact is purchased, it provides a number of smaller artifacts up to a total rating equal to the rating of the primary Artifact (so, Artifact 3 provides a 3 dot Artifact and 3 dots worth of smaller artifacts). Unless the Background is at 1, no secondary artifacts may be as strong as the primary artifact.
VIRTUES: Shadow Dragons begin play with 5 dots of Virtues. No Virtue may be bought above 3 dots without spending bonus points.
CHARMS: Shadow Dragons begin play with 5 Charms. Two must be Dragon-Blooded Charms (one of these must be Aspect or Favoured), and two must be Arcanoi (one of these must be Aspect):
The Ash Aspect favours all Arcanoi for these purposes (but see Experience and Bonus Points).
The Blood Aspect favours Compassion-requirement Arcanoi.
The Pyreflame Aspect favours Conviction-requirement Arcanoi.
The Bone Aspect favours Valor-requirement Arcanoi.
The Prayer Aspect favours Temperance-requirement Arcanoi.

Burnished Dragons pay 12 experience to buy new Favoured or Aspect Charms, and 15 experience for non-Favoured Charms. The Ash Aspect pay 14 experience for all Arcanoi; they don't particularly favour a single aspect.
