Simplified Mass Combat
I'm not a huge fan of the 2e mass combat rules, and thus far I've gotten around that by almost never running mass combats. This makes me kind of sad, so I'm going to sit down and design a much more simplified system that will help me run fights the way that I want to. Hopefully, it'll even work. Here we go.
Units
Mass Combat is a series of battles between vast armies, with great heroes striding between them and challenging one another to great duels. As such, a mass combat unit is actually composed of three things, as follows:
