The Cataphract
Embodying the Self in service to Greatness, a being who wields his sword with the hand on which rests his Ring, the Cataphractoi fight because they are Cataphractoi. Their desire for conflict and strife overshadows their sense of identity, and so they serve as bodyguards for those greater than themselves. An example of a Cataphract would be the career soldier who knows nothing but war and does not question his place.
