For now, some links...
Anime News Network is one of the larger sites out there, with great encyclopedic content, and frequently updated release information. So frequent, in fact, that I look here before I look at a number of companies' site for release dates. ^^;
AnimeNFO is another good reference/review site. ^_^ (Thanks, Tld!)
Of course, when talking about this sort of site, one can't miss Anime on DVD, one of the best semi-comercial product review sites for anime ever!
