This is gonna be a basic description of the Exalted: Modern setting I'm building. It draws a lot from Darker Than Black, among other things.
Publicly Known History
It's the year 2008, everything is pretty much as the players know the world to be. However, five years ago a giant meteor impact in the middle of China sent the world reeling. It left a massive contamination zone which has since been sealed off and designated the "Hell's Gate". There are also smaller contaminated zones due to the fall out of this impact.
Recently there has also been an increase in crime rates, wars and suchlike.
