Characters

As described on my main page, this is a series of characters of different types (solar, dragon-blooded, sidereal...) based around the same concept, mostly for purposes of comparison. Ok, so I started it because I had the idea for an entertainer who was also a spy and wanted to stat it but then failed to decide on the type of exalt. Now, I'm just curious. The character is currently statted as a Solar, a Dragon-Blooded Dynast and a Sidereal; I'm definitely going to stat her as a Raksha, and might do Lunar and Abyssal though I hadn't planned to originally. I mean, character generation is fun, and helps me learn more about the different character types, so why not? The concept has drifted from the original in some cases just to make it work better for the character type. The Sidereal does not, for example, view herself as anything like a spy, although she essentially does spy, in a rather more complex way than the others.. it's more like investigation to further the proper working of fate, of course. Details about these characters are incomplete. Liran will have an artifact harp, and part of the enchantment on it will make it appear mundane, but I don't know what it should actually do (artifact 3). And so on...

Expanded Backgrounds

Allies: A fellow solar, working for the same organisation; more details to follow. I gotta do more details on all these, so you've been warned.

Artifact: the aforementioned harp artifact.

Backing: I figured that she's part of a kind of intelligence-gathering network which will use whatever resources come to hand, including solars, on the quiet; it'll provide her with some limited support but never openly.

Mentor: a celestial instructor in general subversion. doesn't take a great deal of interest in her, being very much wrapped up in his own concerns.

Resources: a combination of her pay as a performer and her pay from the intelligence network. Neither pay a massive amount as she's low-ranking in the organisation and, although skilled, not yet well-known as a musician and singer.

Appearance
Tall but extremely thin, Liran is a deeply frail-looking individual. She is certainly beautiful, if not extremely so, but seems like if you touched her you might damage her. Her exaltation has improved her resiliance, but she remains slightly physically weak in comparison to many of her kind -- something which occasionally works in her favour, as she doesn't appear even slightly threatening. An elegant if far too thin woman with tanned skin and long black hair, Liran typically dresses in light, floaty clothing which hangs loosely on her, drifting around her as she moves. Despite her frailty she moves in a determined way; but she seems most changed when she performs, playing her small harp and singing songs of epic deeds and mighty battles. It is during these performances that she seems most at ease and at peace as she loses herself in her music.
