On Solars at Chargen

rebeccaborgstrom - 10/13/2003 17:53:54

With Merits & Flaws, it'll be possible for a starting Solar to qualify in chargen for Sidereal MA.

There are no rules for Solars learning Sidereal MA in chargen. Note that they're listed separately in the experience cost table in Sidereals; they are not ordinary Charms.

It's reasonable to make a house rule that allows a Solar to learn them in character generation. You could give them a bonus point cost of 8/6, say, to match the experience point cost.

It's also reasonable to make a house rule that allows a Solar to start with an Artifact N/A by buying their Background up to 6 with bonus points, in which case a Solar with 13 points of Flaws can start with Unnatural Many-Step Stride *and* the Eye of Autochthon.

If this is a problem, don't use these house rules. :)
